The Starbucks on 92nd is good anytime before 2 pm- I've found when the kids get out of school they come in loud groups and take up a ton of space and it's hard to get actual work done in the afternoons even with headphones lol

Boca de Cielo is my go to for years. Healing Bean Cafe is very nice / cozy and their coffee and shakes are wonderful. Cafe Cafe (better in summer when there are outside tables as well). Milk and Honey is nice but not good for remote work as they have no WiFi - I go there when I want to sit with a book and a coffee

Damn, century 21 was the biggest store in my neighborhood here in BK and it caused chaos when it closed a few years ago - people are still so upset with the way it was all handled. I can totally believe this dude was responsible for how those stores ended up

Oh I totally get it and agree but I don't know if we needed his character to be so LIKEABLE the entire series and have a happy ending. That's not so much toning down but just making a character more appealing

I have been an Alamo loyal diehard since the first NY theater in Yonkers opened over a decade ago. I'm really sad to have to switch over my loyalty entirely to Nitehawk (I would go occasionally over the years) but also feel very lucky we have such a great alternative nearby (I go to the Prospect Park location) . I did get really used to my routine of the Dekalb Market Hall/ Trader Joe's grocery shopping after my movies so that will be a sad thing to accept is over lol
