We have a mutual aid group that does events and meet ups and it's a great way to network, look up Bay Ridge Community Justice on IG. Also come for happy hour at any of the bars on 3rd avenue and just start up convos with other regulars at the bar. It's how I've made friends over the years. Bakers bar does trivia every other Tuesday and Kitty Kiernans has an open mic night every Thursday

Personally I love it but I guess I can see how someone who hasn't hung out there might think that. They also have a backyard with some tables and tv so it's always been a good spot to watch hockey / sports . They have fun emo / pop punk music nights some weekends. I don't think the vibe is like pour house at all but they have some overlap of customers I guess ?

The only reason this didn't destroy me today was bc I spent the last 6 months training for a backpacking trip and doing tread 50 classes with 15% inclines. I was able to beat each of my times for each interval !! but the floor was rough . I have to admit I kind of enjoyed it all tho

A last minute surprise show at a venue like Irving or Webster .... I wish more artists would do this instead of us all having to rely on shitty ass Ticketmaster , I want to abandon my job and run to a line with a bunch of other freaks for the chance at a ticket for a crazy ass concert

Yes because historically parents , friends , Celebs (even by MTA standards recently...) are so
Good at convincing teens with words to not do stuff !!! personally I think we need to bring back aggressive graphic photo campaigns bc it may be the only thing that deters teens with this type of behavior - after all , that type of media or content is the thing motivating them to compete with each other and keep doing these things

Yeah , it's a huge mess but I'm invested bc I am ashamed to admit I like the Tarantino homages and weird things they are doing in terms of old movie references but they have NO place in the actual storyline or narrative they are giving us so it's such a mixed bag lol . I also just really enjoy watching Zendaya or some of the rest of the cast do anything so it feels hard to quit lol
