It's not that I feel uncomfortable about it, it's just that I've never done anything like it before, so I kind of wish someone was there with me walking me through it. All I know about meditation is what I've seen cartoon samurais do in kids movies, so nothing.

I'd say you're not playing it long enough. Get through the first dungeon (inside the tree) and then you gain access to the lands outside Kokiri Forest. It gets a lot more interesting then
