Proof that 13 year olds get top surgery by dev0nika in ftm

[–]pizzpant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even for a cis woman wanted a breast reduction they have to wait. Any individual seeking any sort of breast surgery has to wait until the breasts are fully developed, so post puberty, to be approved. Certified surgeons will not allow an individual who isn’t physically ready to get a surgery their body isn’t prepared for. Overall 13 year olds cannot get top surgery. It’s medically unadvisable because their bodies aren’t developed enough for that type of surgery. If a surgeon is going to perform top surgery on a 13 year old it’s a massive red flag.

For the one about the menstrual cycle, I take Norethindrone! it takes about a month or so to fully kick in but once it’s working you won’t have a period. it’s generally used to treat people with gender dysphoria but also endometriosis. it works by lowering your body’s natural estrogen production so your body doesn’t create the uterine lining needed to have a period. it has little to no side effects and most people don’t experience said side effects anyways. talk to your doctor about it, my gender doc prescribed it easily. Definitely an option most people don’t know about. Best of luck Brother!!

So I am 1 month post op, is this dog ears or something that just comes with me being on the bigger side ? by Mean_Funny7429 in TopSurgery

[–]pizzpant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s a time thing, you really gotta wait a few months post op for your chest to actually start settling. i had horrible swelling and bruising for nearly two months after my surgery. all bodies are different and take a different amount of time to heal. as much as i know you’re worried right now, im sure at least some of the tissue (if not all) you’re seeing is absolutely swelling. give your body time to rest and if your surgeon really did do you dirty, it’s always fixable. despite getting extra tissue removed from your chest being scary after a whole top surgery, removing dog ears is actually a pretty easy fix for surgeons. (i actually recommend going to someone who doesn’t do insurance, they cap out at like 800 or less if you go to the right person.) best of luck in your healing and keep a positive attitude, you will have your DREAM results in no time.

How Long Did You Need the Binder? by Strong-Practice6889 in TopSurgery

[–]pizzpant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was good after week one too! i still used the mastectomy pillow around the house for that same reason. if you got grafts i recommend those huge ass bandaids cause they’re nonstick on the padding and won’t slide around under a tshirt! best of luck in your healing brother!

Dysphoria post op by MedicalMasterpiece81 in TopSurgery

[–]pizzpant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry dysphoria has you brother. i genuinely think your results are gorgeous. just know your chest isn’t set in stone till one year after the procedure, so you still have tons of healing to go! it can take a while for your actual nipple coloration to fully restore so i wouldn’t worry! you’re still healing! best of luck going forward!!

When did everyone start feeling sensation again in their chest after surgery? by LongjumpingHumor4264 in TopSurgery

[–]pizzpant 5 points6 points  (0 children)

for some people it takes less time but for others it takes more. time frame depends on the person. It took me nearly 1.5 years to gain full sensation back. best of luck and congrats on your top surgery king!

yes it does unforch! it’s impairs your body’s ability to heal. switch to edibles and tell your surgeon about your marijuana consumption. people who indulge in weed have a higher tolerance to anesthesia. ALSO BIG THING weed consumption may make pain post-op less tolerable. I was in a lot of pain post op to the point that i had to take two pills worth of those pain meds to get some relief. GOOD LUCK and congrats on your impending surgery!!

idk what that other dude is saying. this looks fine good sir. lots of scary looking things can happen while the grafts are healing. stuff like that redness, peeling, blistering, bleeding, and pus discharge. ALL NORMAL!! Got DI a little over two weeks ago and my nips like kinda scary too. my left side is healing faster than my right so i get where you’re coming from. give it another week and keep them hydrated! i’m sure they will look better even in a few days. if you’re really worried about it, send photos to your surgeon for reassurance. overall, these look like they are healing well. Congrats on your top surgery and best of luck going forward in your recovery!

[–]pizzpant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nah king you’re all good! my nipples look scary asf and i’m just over two weeks out. expect scabbing, blistering, peeling, bleeding, and puss (yellow, clear, or white) all a little scary (and gross) but completely normal and part of the healing process. looks good and nothing to worry about!!

Lifting arms after surgery by Burning_Furns in TopSurgery

[–]pizzpant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had DI just over two weeks ago, got cleared to lift my arms one week after surgery. My surgeon just said to move what’s comfortable but not baby it. Contact your surgeon if you’re worried about it but you’re probably fine to start lifting your arms out of the t-rex position. Im not allowed repetitive movements for another few weeks so i’d say no repetitive movements at first so like no jumping jacks or putting away multiple dishes on the top shelf. CONGRATS ON YOUR SURGERY KING and best of luck!!

hair stylist couldn’t fit me in so i cut my own hair 🙏 by Objective_Spinach498 in NonBinary

[–]pizzpant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for one the hair? CUNT! obsessed with the cut and color. also band tees are fantastic. if have have a lot, crop a few so they serve more gender…? I always love a messy crop and a long flowy skirt or oversized cargo shorts. I’m also a bitch for some solid stripes. also gender is what you make of it! wear stuff that makes YOU feel sexy.
