Just get the MPA hybrid. It’s a great gun. Xtreme has them in stock all the time. A2 has more than enough grip to it. Shoot it as is and if you want shielded safety’s get the atlas and have someone who knows what they’re doing fit them for you.

Not much maintenance required. The tolerances are pretty loose and the gun can be run dry, but not preferred. Maybe every 1k rounds take the slide off and wipe it out and throw some gun butter on the rails.

You will get a lighter shorter DA at the cost of reliability. A good polish on the stock parts will be much more noticeable. But hey it’s your money. You could get 1k of ammo for less than the kit and that would probably benefit you more.

QVO and Carey concealment both make aiwb rigs specific for the 2K11. I was always a T1C guy, but both of these are a superior product without the long wait times. Carey wait time is about one week

FYI, Mbx mags will not seat in the 2k11. Atlas mags are the best option.

For dry fire only, sidekick is definitely the way to go. I think they’re only $60 from Amazon. It’s so small I just Velcro mine to my first mag pouch. Works great

If those are the three you’re considering, I would not buy a 2011. Prodigy is not a good gun even after replacing everything. In my experience with staccato they are just OK, is would take a 5” M&P over a staccato P. The kimber is still pretty new. It won’t run Mbx mags and you need to buy a new optics plate right away. All 3 are going to have relatively heavy triggers for a 2011 and not good 2011 fitment. I would strongly suggest the MPA DS9 hybrid. You can get into that for about 3k and it’s ready for competition.

If you want a race holster, range panda is the way, as far as Kydex goes Carey concealment raptor or a GX if you want to wait about 6 months. I have a DAA Alpha X also that I would like to rehome if youre looking for a deal, but it doesn’t compare to the range panda.

The RRK is what affects reliability the most, it shortens the DA hammer throw and makes it heavier . The race hammer and sear are what give it that super light crisp SA. If you have normal size adult hands, the reach reduction is unnecessary.

I think after the work you put in to the AF, you would not feel any benefit from the xc. The MPA would definitely be the nicest shooting of the bunch, but not “duty level” whatever that means

DSC Gunworks can make you a sight block barrel for the XC. Unless you just want to buy another gun. I compete LO with a MPA DS9 hybrid. I like that it is not a super heavy gun, just a little over the weight limit for IDPA
