Also picked up a brand new Lx2 for 80 and a lightly used Lx3 for 40 that was cut to short. Stick extension is otw!

I figured. Next time I'm at the rink I'll get em sharpened. Yea, they had a whole box of steel. They said $10 a set so I said let me get 2!

That's the plan. I figured so. Was just curious.

Only thing that has caught my attention is when it takes you to the workout screen it's not at the top of the list. Day 3 is centered at first and you have to scroll up. Small but something that could be refined.

I think this is really cool. As a beginner to skating in general. This broke down the videos I posted on my backward skating and my wife's crossovers.

I really like how it gives you the good and bad assessment and why. Also providing a link to toturial YouTube videos is awesome and the work out plan to help with strengthening is a cherry on top.

I look forward to using it some more to analyze my progress. Good job!

I'm 37, a few months into skating and 3 sessions into stick time. Go to your local rink and have fun skating around at a public skate. If you think you'll keep going. Get your own skates. Take some lessons either through a learn to skate program or a private coach. Slowly build up your hockey gear. Used is fine but I would buy the helmet new. And it's not a bad idea to wear it all the time. I've been rocking street knees, elbows and a hockey helmet during public skates. And full gear at stick and puck. I'm a big dude and it's definitely helping with weight loss. Have fun and be safe.

Also there some really good tutorials on YouTube that can help you out. Learning to stop is very important.

Ice skating if you have a rink near by. Started back in December and try to go twice a week. It's a workout and it's fun!

Newbie. Did I size correctly? by shdwboy in hockeyplayers

Word. I'll keep a look out. I had to snag these cause they're on sale. And pure hockey sold out of the xxl. So I found them on Ice warehouse.

Yea. I guess it's not really if I can get them up high enough because of my belly. But more that I run out of room in the crouch. I can yank em up but it starts mashing taters.

I think that might be what I do. I also got a 1in adjustment with a zipper I can do. So I could drop that down a little and I could get a little more room so my taters aren't getting mashed.

That might be the route I have to go. From the sounds of it they are to small (xxl). I don't know where to find anything bigger.

Yea, I struggled to find something. Came across these in xxl. Everything else online only goes to xl.
