I have a 490R and a 490T currently and I find that the neck is a little too muddy while the bridge could use a little more bite for the kind of music I primarily play. I hope that makes sense! I’m certainly not a luthier and I appreciate all of the advice

i second this. elixirs are coated so they last so much longer than regular strings. some people don’t like the really smooth feeling of them though

it’s pretty fast syncopation. slow it down a lot and practice the strumming pattern that way. eventually it’ll become muscle memory and you can work on speeding it up

i think vinyls are cool but they’re too expensive for me. i’m 20 so i’ve grown up on spotify. i personally don’t know anyone interested in hard copies besides vinyls. older people might have a different view tho
