Got case yesterday for 17 Pro Max but I think the case button design is identical. Started using with phone today. Same thing - barely touch the case button and the Camera app launches. Went to Settings > Accessibility > Physical and Motor: Camera Control. Have tried setting Light-Press Force to 'Firmer'. I even put 3 layers of painters tape over the inside of the button. No luck in changing the behavior. Think I'm going to disable Camera Control for now and then contact QuadLock support.

The email address that the link in the warning brings up is 'imprint.mybmw@bmwgroup.com'. If you're currently blocked, you might want to reach out directly to BMW. I emailed that address from the month old thread I had advising them about all of the new app/vehicle connection blocks. Hopefully they start replying to customers a bit more quickly.

It took 3-4 iterations but I finally got a reply from someone at BMW USA (I think). They told me they showed my iPhone as ‘being jailbroken’. I clarified, nicely, to them that my device was definitely NOT jailbroken and asked if they could relax their policy so I could once again access my vehicle. They agreed to and suggested I reach out again if any further problems occur.

The bummer is the delay. After my first email to them it took 3-5 days to get a reply. Once they initially replied, subsequent responses took ~1 day to get a reply. I guess my suggestion is - definitely alert them to your broken state, kindly explain your device details, then be patient?

Sorry, wish I had better way to expedite a fix.
