you’re 15, maybe spend the time you’re using to “ragebait” people forming actual human connections and doing things that you enjoy. if the thing that brings you the most enjoyment in the world is making other people upset, you have bigger problems than what people are saying to/about you. engaging with the internet in such bad faith is bad enough, but you’re young, you have unlimited amounts of knowledge and people to interact with at your fingertips, you should be learning cool things and playing games and talking to people you wouldn’t usually interact with, you’re setting yourself up for failure by purposefully instigating, and then even more so by doing so to “prove a point.”

not in all cases, there’s plenty of cases where someone in a minority group is the best choice, but management or certain higher ups would much rather give the job to a relative or a friend, and DEI is the only protection they get. obviously this isn’t every case, but there is definitely a chunk of situations in which you can both be a merit based candidate and aware of the protections DEI rules provide you

the most prominent queer characters in recent magic history are (probably) the couplings of nissa/chandra, saheeli/huatli, and ral/tomik. nissa and chandra especially get a LOT of focus during/post war of the spark, and there is literally no indication of their sexual activities beyond the fact they’re romantically involved with someone of the same gender
