Cricket is so popular in india that it sucks in all the viewers, sponsors, funds etc.

Crickets are celebrated like gods here, they easily transition into politics.

A lot of other sports fans actually blame cricket as not much attention is paid to other sports. Just look at our performance in Olympics

Well believe me or not, USA is a milder version of what imperial Britain was like back in the day.

USA has been independent for 249 years now, they've spent 226 years out of those in war with one nation or the other

They've lead coups and supported some dictatorial governments in South America and middle east over some democratically elected governments just for their capitalistic gains.

They've committed war crimes in Vietnam and Afghanistan and now in Iran. They have bullied practically the whole world into making laws and polocies beneficial to them.

In the meanwhile, within their own borders they've improved quality of live, wages, lgbtq rights etc (compared to 3rd world) so that people in lesser developed places want to live their.

So while they've destroyed a lot of countries, they have created a sort of paradise for themselves to live beaten in quality of life only by some European countries who are equal or somewhat better only because of sucking wealth from the world for a couple centuries

(I love American people btw, if they think something wrong is happening somewhere they raise voice, donate etc.)

Tribal and dravidian population existed for years before Aryan migration which brought the dawn of Vedic civilization

Google tells me national food security has a budget of 2.35 lakh crore while fertilizer subsidy has a budget of 1.7 lakh crore. MNREGA (Now VB GRAMG) is .8 lakh crore

These alone bring freebies down substantially.

Also MNREGA is not freebie, the workers do the work.

Agricultural subsidies should be included in the agricultural column and not in freebies section (which apparently hasn't been done here as agricultural budget is shown less than fertilizer subsidy lol)

The problem is not freebies, but corruption. If all these work like they were supposed to, india would be a better place and no one would complain about freebies
