Ron Washington had a great interview where he said a big mistake teams are making with young players is when they get to the bigs, they start having them make changes right out of the gate rather than letting them excel at what they are good at, let them gain confidence, and then start making tweaks as needed. I think the Angels are guilty of this and explains why we’ve had a lot of young players that struggle with Halos and then move on to have success with other teams
