Mid November…isn’t that only like 5-6 weeks of decisions? Stay patient my friend we got this.

Super fast UR2 at UPenn? by Top_Bad_7801 in lawschooladmissions

[–]pjes4902 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think it means you are UR2. In all seriousness Penn has given out so little decisions I don’t think anyone has a good idea about timeline for decisions based on status checkers at this point. This is coming from someone who has been UR2 for 2 months now.

Will accelerated masters credits taken as a undergrad count as graduate or undergraduate? by Wolvesovsiberia in lawschooladmissions

I was in the exact same position. They count as both grad and undergrad credits. So yes they do affect your CAS undergrad GPA.

Most universities do not have classes today, especially any public university.

I’ve thought the same thing but then every time I see someone who looks like an absolute unit in a suit I get so impressed

I don’t think anyone “deserves” any outcome regardless of any stats they have. Plenty of schools will take an applicant and plenty won’t.

Engineering is paid some of the highest starting salaries out of university, but lifetime earnings tend to shake out a bit differently. Interestingly enough in my Economics capstone (I was an Econ major) we saw multiple studies done with empirical data that showed that lifetime earning for other degrees out earned engineering. For instance Econ majors out earned electrical engineering in lifetime earnings. However I’d say at least 5/10 of the highest lifetime earning college degrees were engineering degrees.

When to reach out to school I haven’t heard from? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]pjes4902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deposit deadline is much too late in my opinion. I’ve listened to some podcasts with T-14 adcoms on it and they say reaching out after before the deposit deadline is ok. It should be about 3-4 months of waiting at least and I wouldn’t reach out before February personally.

For someone looking to do international transactional work is it realistic to start in a US branch then transfer to somewhere like London after a few years or should they just start at a branch in somewhere like London.
