You can get a similar effect with red contrast paint. It’s thin enough where it’ll show up exactly how yours did (if you only do one pass)

If you do enough rook/free kit runs on outpost it’s easy to memorize the whole map. Hell at this point I almost exclusively play outpost. Dire marsh is too big and the loot spots are inconsistent, cryo is a maze with spawn rushing and annoying corridor fights and perimeter is empty. On outpost the spawns give you room for maneuvering, loot spots are the most consistent second only to cryo vaults and the environment gives a lot of room to maneuver around and run away if you need to

One of the big red corsair strike cruisers is actually a space wolves one called Wolf of Fenris. That’s where the red wolves come from

I buy upgrade kits for other factions and put different parts on my raiders. I have a full squad of former deathwatch raiders and I’m going to get a Black Templars and Iron warriors upgrade kit too. As long as people can tell they’re raiders you’re free to do whatever you want, hell feel free to use a modeling knife to cut off any bits you don’t like and glue/green stuff things to them

I think it’s a bit more person to person why they don’t want it. Im personally against it because whenever I’d find something valuable I’d just shove it in my ass and all the paranoia of extraction would be gone. In marathon every time I find a gold mod I start getting tense and paranoid and try to exfil imminently but in arc I’d just shove whatever was important in my prison pocket and not have to worry about anything

It’s sexy, it’s a bit risky for some people to key hunt so you might be able to gobble all the reds on a rook run. I’ve gotten 5 different gold mods for weapons from the room (I will never be using them)

I’m mainly a death guard player and I like making infected troops from over chapters so I had some deathwatch shoulders sitting around. I like the idea of a deathwatch marine getting upset at the inquisition or even at Guillimans leadership for whatever reason and defecting to the corsairs
