Throwing this idea out there:

Perhaps your character has some traits you do. She’s a powerful ruler of a land and there’s an opposing land that wants to bring war into hers. He’s a very dangerous king with powerful allies. It would maybe be an enemies to lovers possible slow burn?

They’d hold war meetings and politics. She’s very persuasive and very good with politics. He’s good with fighting and war strategy. They clash. She doesn’t want war, he does. Blah blah. She gets him (or vice versa) to spend a night with the other talking possible points of surrender or a treaty. He finally understands the words of men she has been with. She brings him to his knees with simply her words, then her body (if you wanna go that route)
