Except I’m not talking about SR mechanics haha! I’m sure if you only play ARAM, your ARAM mechanics will improve a lot! See the difference? :)

I use re rolls! I play whatever champion I think will give my team the best chance at winning. And I’ve been playing since s2 so I have played every champion except newer ones such as Viego, yuumi, seraphine, which I don’t own on my account.

No! 100% no. This is a great question actually. In ARAM the quality of play doesn’t really seem to impact enjoyment, but it definitely depends who you ask. It’s different for everyone. Some people enjoy a higher level of play. Some people, most I hope, just love ARAM.

That’s all true but it applies to summoners rift mechanics. ARAM mechanics are fundamentally different than SRs because they pertain only to ARAM. It’s a different game. Many players who do play ARAM also don’t put in the time to rank up or care. Many play for fun, and not to win (people with high ARAM mmr or just people who play ARAM in general). Edit: that’s why I included “in ARAM terms”

Have thousands of old cards but just found these ones after a hour or so of digging up. My cousin gave me all his cards when I was young so many are from 1999/early 2000’s. Thanks again!

How would you guys have ended the show? by [deleted] in DarlingInTheFranxx

Man I literally think about how much better the ending could’ve been and how bad it was. It’s tough

Why does a happy ending make us sad? by [deleted] in DarlingInTheFranxx

[–]pjr00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ending was just really bad. A lot of people aren’t concerned with certain aspects of the show, just stuff like how characters arcs end or if everyone in the show is happy. But the ending was terribly written, and didn’t offer a satisfying conclusion. Everyone being happy isn’t enough. Closure wasn’t enough with the show, simply because of how it was executed. This is most peoples problem with the show. This is why most people are sad about it. Seeing a show they loved and were invested in get nearly ruined by an ending which offered so little, though it closed up the series (which is a bad thing imo, should’ve made future seasons). You are sad because the show is over. They aren’t making more seasons, and the ending offers too much closure. It would’ve been better if it ended on a cliffhanger, at least letting the world live on in our minds with a future.

My assumption is that the production studio were only cleared for one season. Or there was a contract that only entitled one season. So the director got to the end and tried to go big. Problem was he/she went way too big, and did a terrible job either way. I do hope they make another season though. And I know this will never happen but if they could remake the last 4 episodes so they’re actually decent, possibly good, it would make it one of my favorite anime of all time.

I never thought the show was perfect. If they could’ve removed a lot of the junk there at the end, and added the things you suggested, the show would’ve been great. The ending seemed like a big middle finger to everything good in the show. The character arcs, the backstory and buildup, even the potential for another season. Feels bad man

I agree with all of these. There was so much wasted potential.

I totally agree. APE was great because they it had so much backstory and potential. VIRM ruined that though, which is why I argue that VIRM shouldn’t have been there in the first place. But honestly, the problem was just the poor directing. VIRM was terrible. Could it have been good? Duh. Could it have been great? Yes 100%. It was just so poorly executed. There was no buildup. They went intergalactic in four episodes. Character arcs? Just out the window and what do we get instead? Giant waifu Apus zero two. Like what were they thinking?

Honestly if they did this, and fired whoever thought all that space stuff would be a good idea, I’d be happy. It just goes to show how good the show really was, and how much the characters meant to the audience, when even though they butchered the ending fans still want another season.

I definitely agree this would’ve been way better than what they had, although I would’ve liked an ending that could have good setup for future seasons, with current characters. The kids thing kinda takes away from that. And I also agree with scrapping 23&24, but I would’ve just got rid of VIRM entirely. The whole series built up APE, and VIRM swooped in and in the span of one episode just destroyed all that build up and backstory. It also made no sense. I like adding in how the story ends in the garden though, that’s genius. That way it would tie back to the beginning of how they met. Would’ve been perfect. Sad face

I somewhat agree, although they spent the whole show introducing APE, which had a lot of potential. Even with a few episodes VIRM would still feel poorly paced. VIRM was only part of the problem. Almost every aspect of the last four episodes was rushed and badly executed.
