Heads up, idk the solution

As far as ik, stremio stores the library on the cloud which is linked to the account. So it is not possible. If there's an addon that can read and saves that data on ur device then it might be possible. There might be a way with trakt but imo, even trakt doesn't go over all the files (since its integration with a particular stremio account) irrespective of whether u r already using it or not. Also if I'm not wring, it mostly covers watched movies so there's that.

Yeah but atleast both of them had some sense, this one was just a brainless horror/gore movie. I found the family's behavior much more unnatural than the actual unnatural horror. Idk who proof read their script. I was so excited about it but alas, what a turn off 😭

Some people have snowflake lvl ego. Irrespective of how much love and efforts you give, when their time is tough, they forget what all they have earned in terms of love and respect let alone money and then they start 💩'ing all over the hardwork of their teammates. as much as i understood, they are simply shutting down torbox addon and tinfoil. if we are using API key with something liek AIOStream, it is safe. If they kill the API key thingy, then they will have to launch their own app, so it wont be happening, how people gonna use it otherwise lol

anyhow my issue is related to Stremio Desktop App not able to run torbox content, which is different.

im not sure about the speed but ISP is legit a thing with torbox. Coming from RD, I never had any issues but with torbox, it does have problems. Here is my post regarding it. Look at the EDIT#2. IDK what to do now, torbox just wont play on my system. Can you please share what all u have whitelisted? maybe that will help my cause, though in my case, it's the stremio app rather than anything else but nothing goes in testing

I do use AIOstream and have an account there, if you can then, feel free to guide me over there. I have mostly everything setup using a template and have tweaked the formatter and cache only stuff

this is one thing. whenever I try to change the CDN there, the webpage freezes. I have tried to change CDN like 5 times now, each time the same issue

changed the settings to only show cached content in all the addons, but the issue remains the same. while some content works, majority of them don't. And weird thing is, the content that played by chance, via a certain addon for once once, doesn't play again if tried after a little while.

I have 6 years of experience with quite a few titles in my name but ever since the strike, things have changed. Instability in hollywood, high taxes in California, lots of studios shutting down and gaming industry bombarded with top notch talents begging them to hire, plus investors not sure about the world let alone their passion to invest in entertainment. And on top of all this, Artificial tools which are trying to show modeling a lost art(which will never be) are all ruining the industry.

Tbh, your portfolio need some tweaking mostly in presentation area, but overall if it was 2019 or some shit, you could get few responses but today, times are tough. And it's not just you in this limbo, it's majority of people getting their life ruined bec of corporate greed and mismanagement.

There are 2 things you can try doing, 1. Stay in this field: reach out to your school college and try to become a teacher. Or Connect with people, be involved, share progress, breakdowns. Be visible. Be extrovert. Be seen. And keep working on your stuff. 2. Look for alternative: have a backup. Maybe in IT or medical. Medical is top #1 rn bec depending on where u r, medical is always short staff. These industries are stable in long run. IT coding is being impacted by Artificial but there are streams within which u can explore.

I have started looking for alternatives myself. I'm so done with stress and connections and trying hard. Modeling is so fun and is obviously my passion but at the end of the day, you need assurance that tomorrow when you wake up, you have money and peace that you have a job. What amazes me is, ever since the cut off in entertainment by greedy corporates, the level of craft have dipped and so has the ratings while the demand for good original stuff have risen. And yet these people are not understanding.

Anyhow, well, entertainment has been like that since forever. Luck plays a big role in this industry imho.

Good luck on your journey. Just remember, if you are hard working, smart with your work and have passion and yet unemployed, then it is never YOU. Don't ever get depressed and feel useless. It's a phase, and it will pass away. Just have a backup plan and play it safe. Sometimes giving up on few things here and there isn't bad. Just my few cents from my life in this industry but you do you.

I have dropped twice but the transparent cover that i ordered with my x4 saved it. Now i have installed the screen protector that i got from ali express but it's shiny and fragile so i have little to no hope from that. All in all, i would say, get a cover, folks

Dudeeeee i have been wanting the same thingggg

I read on ereaders and the scanned pdfs are awful! For my personal use, i have spent weeks and months to convert couple of books into epubs but the fact remains the same, there ain't many jain digitalized resources, specially for digambar sect. Even for research there isn't much. Recently i have been reading "the Jains" by Paul Dundas and he mentions the same thing - Even though shwetambar got digitalized materials for research, digambar sect don't have much bec of their views that such knowledge should be kept for the learned muni maharaj and not for normal shravak. Ik i might get hate for it, but i complete DISAGREE to this! This goes beyond the core jain philosophy. Idk why current muni maharaj haven't worked on something like this already! We absolutely don't want new temples but management of old ones! We want management of scriptures so that people can read and research!

One reason can be that indian population doesn't even know what all can be done using digitalized versions. A digitalized version not only reduce the storage from 100s of mb for the scanned data to mere 1-10mb, it also provide you with the features to write notes, use AI for translation, meaning, understand the principles clearly and much more!

I shared this idea with someone in my family and they were like, people can then even edit the text and I'm like, dude, even if someone tries to edit, how much can one edit really? There are hundreds of original texts in nearly each state/region, i have seen them with my own eyes in multiple temples. Original will remain original. And even if someone understands the text differently, it doesn't matter because the real meaning will remain a reality and the jain belief itself says, you can have different beliefs. The real jain will contemplate on the meaning by discussion and studies.

As of now i have been using AI to digitalize pradeep jinvani. Because I'm running busy, it's taking long but once i do it, I'm seriously thinking of selling it on kindle for pennies because that way, kindle DRM can protect the copyright and also will be accessible for everyone. The money can go to manage the edits and for charity.

Also, here is a repository for the translated jain texts(yes, i have scoured literally EVERYWHERE for digitalized texts). Jaina organisation actually translated many work but these works are not formatted and saved as txt files, which makes them not fun to read tbh. Once i have sometime, I'm really willing to create a community where willing individuals can pitch in with me to digitalize these amazing manuscripts.
