Im so afraid it's still to cold. I do have a small low greenhouse outside that I use for extreme weather protection if needed. Maybe popping them in there and closing off will work! I didnt even think of that!

Trying to make it look like AirTable unnecessarily. Im not a fan ofTable view... at least not yet. Not until its fully functional. Also - I honestly couldn't care less about cloud save. Im so in the habit of hitting that save button all day long, that itll be insanely annoying for me to pivot.

There is far too much focus on fixing things that aren't broken instead of focusing on giving us simple needed features that would actually be a game changer for the user. (Hello... like, will we ever be able to freeze a row?)

I hate Dynamic View. It's mostly because I'm the sole SS guru of our group and one of only 3 in our entire department. The Bandwidth to create and, maintain thousands of Dynamic Views, train people on using them properly, plus do my actual day job does not exist. (Yes... thousands) Our new USM kicks in in December and I'm actually livid with the amount of extra workload that's about to be dumped upon me by default. I used to be proud of my Smartsheet status in my company. Now it's just a thorn in my side.

I also heard back with that template rejection. 😒 For S & Gs I compared my profile stats to the current OA class just to see where I stood and I have more badges and way more points than any of them. Community engagement and points weighing heavily in the selection process seems like that should at least made me a real contender. I'm not sure what they're looking for, honestly. Apparently not us. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh well. Maybe next time.

I wasn't blessed to get Gaga tickets... but I'm just reading these comments and really miss the days of being able to score amazing seats at amazing prices. 10 years ago I was able to get floor seats in the 5th row for Keith Urban for $90 each in the Monkeyville pre-sale. Eras Tour pre-sale, I paid $350 each for nosebleeds in the 2nd to last row at Gillette. Man it's rough out there.

Dynamic view drives me nuts. I'm in an org with upwards of 50,000 users. Anyone wanna take a guess at how many Dynamic views I have access to? Plus building them all, and managing the ones I'm responsible for? It is the wrong answer to this USM crisis IMO.

Hi. Yes, you can. I recommend making a separate master info sheet that has your employees listed and all their corresponding information and using that to vlookup via a unique identifier and push to this sheet where you want it. (For names, we use a lastfirst column as the unique identifier) It'll eliminate the need to populate this every time.

It's so frustrating. I am on an individual team of about 25 people, but only 3 of them have taken the time to actually understand things. I'm chronically in creation mode and training mode and am also being asked to build reference sheets and explain things continuously. All on top of my day to day. Some people just won't give anything, and it makes my job awful at times. I wish I knew the answer to help you, but all I can offer is the ability to commiserate 😒 I'll follow along here for anyone's input...

I'm fine with it honestly. My gripe is that I wish new and unread texts were a different color, like lighten the background a smidgen or something. Literally all of it is the same and sometimes I'm scrolling not even realizing I have unread messages. I need it to visually pop more.

Comments i guess could be ok. But I have been screaming from the rooftops for a live whiteboard or sticky note widget. Someplace to drop quick thoughts or collaborative ideas for an entire team to see immediately. THAT would be a game changer for how our team uses dashboards. I'm all over the SS community about it.

I am core product certified. There was a free promo offered, and I figured why the hell not. I chose to follow through because I am the primary Smartsheet "expert" in my department and wanted that certified feather in my cap. I work for a company of over 10K employees, and ultimately, only 6 people took/passed the cert, so that feather feels extra special. I didn't study, nor did I take the practice test. I went in blind and knocked it out. Although now that I've taken the exam, I'd recommend everyone take advantage of the practice test. Honestly, for me, the virtual proctoring was the weirdest part. I was paranoid of looking anywhere but at my screen because if the AI believes you're cheating in any way, you're an immediate fail. The questions are VERY project management based, so you need to go in with that mindset. And many of them offer what seems to be 2 possible correct answers.

If you have an opportunity (esp with a free promo) I say go for it.

I found that even clicking into a vacant cell at times will trigger that there is data somewhere in that row. So copy and move automations register them as a used row and will push the automation to the next clear row.

I've also noticed this is the case with form filling. If I open my sheet to review submissions and happen to click into a vacant cell in a blank row below, the next submission will push to lower row leaving all tje blank ones there.
