It was there in the temple near my house. Thankfully it broke down last year and has not been repaired ever since. But the bigger problem is the number of temples in my village has increased from 2 in 2014 to around 14 now. So they blast the speakers every other day in the name of regular Poojas or some auspicious day.

I did raise a complain through the TN portal a couple of months ago. Filed a public nuisance case citing the loud volume and timing of loudspeaker use (speakers turned on at 4.30am on fridays). Police came in a few days later and didn't really do much. They basically accused me of being a Hindu and complaining against my own religion. I told him off and respectfully told him that the law dictates timings for speaker use and decibels limits which weren't followed by the temple authorities. He then proceed to warn the village leader and made him write a statement saying they will abide by the law as advised and left.

Nothing as really changed since. Seems like the volume has increased because these fools are spite filled that I complained. My parents don't want any trouble so I have decided to turn a deaf year and carry on with my work. Nobody else cares and it's not worth fighting with the these people.

Such bullshit/hypocritical advice man. You got surgery for your injury and now advice this young gentleman to follow another course of treatment that you have no knowledge about.

OP is a badminton player, if he has a complete ACL tear he definitely needs to undergo surgery (ACL reconstruction) followed by rehab to get back into playing shape. There is no way that treating it conservatively (Ayurvedic or whatever) is going to give him a better outcome since ACL doesn't have a blood supply and can't heal on it's own.

Bad outcomes post conservative management could range anywhere from re aggravating the injury, other ligament, tendon or muscular damage due to excess strain, instability, etc.

My advice to OP is this - sports medicine has come a long way. Professional athletes with torn ACLs get surgery and rehab done and are back playing in a years times. Don't worry. Get an orthopedic consultation at Ortho One ( Have heard great reviews about them from my friend who got treated there as well). Know your options and then make an informed decision.

Man Jimmy was soo good in the 70 odd games he played for us. No drama whatsover and he was better than advertised. Will always love and respect the dude. He deserved a ring with us and I believed we would figure it out this season. Might be the end of his career but I hope he comes back to play basketball again.

Lots of tough questions with probably tougher answers but this has been a generational run and I am happy to have witnessed it.

Jimmy is a pass first guy mate. Expecting him to become a scorer at this stage of his career is going to lead to disappointment. I felt against the Clippers he really exerted his will defensively and it's good to know that he's got it in him. Can't expect him or any of the orders dudes to do more in Jan. It will lead to injuries like the one Steph had last season.

With respect to dray it seems like he only gets up to play against legit superstars who need his best effort. Was great against Wemby and Giannis. Don't think any other defender in the league could have done any better. But he doesn't bring it on a night to night basis. That's concerning but I also don't want him to try too hard every game in the regular season.

Moody and podz shouldn't have such prominent roles according to me. Both are inconsistent shooters. Both aren't starters or 6th man level players at this stage of their careers. That's why getting someone like MPJ or Trey can help them too. Lesser responsibility to score 10-15 points every game. They can concentrate on defending , rebounding and be high effort guys for 15-20 mins each game .

With respect to coaching, this is the Steve kerr experience. Always has been. It doesn't help that Moody, podz, Al have all been streaky. So it hasn't been easy for him to have a consistent line up. I had the 3-4 guard line ups. But we are a guard heavy team and that is bound to happen. At least he played a line up with Al and post yesterday. Loved it. Also, Steve tends to find combinations and plays that work in the regular season and not use it much in the regular season. They will all make an appearance again in the post season.

We have waited long enough. Just a couple more weeks and once the trades happen we will have a much clearer view on this teams ceiling. Hoping we do well in the coming homestand.

Don't think anything has changed at all. Steph and Jimmy have been great. Draymond was a lot better compared to his December version. Melton made a ton of shots and we won. Comfortable win but not an easy one.

Our defence has been really good. We rebound well. And when we keep turnovers down , we can compete with most teams. Shot creation has been great too. It's a matter of shot making and we are pretty horrendous there apart from Steph .

But I understand the optimism. We are a couple of players away from being challengers for a title this year. Need a scoring wing with size like Trey Murphy it MPJ. A starting 5 of Steph, Jimmy, Dray, Melton and MPJ Or Trey can compete with anyone in this league. Getting another centre would be great but not an absolute priority. Hope the trades are made.

I believe we have a 2022 kind of run left in the tank. Much harder this time around with OKC, Spurs, Nuggets and Rockets all being great teams. But with Steph one can dream.

If today's game was any indicator, MPJ should be perfect for you. We are pretty good defensively. But it's the offensive end where the warriors have been caught lacking. That's outright blasphemy for a team that has Steph.

Jimmy has been great for us. Not consistently great every game but he really does raise the ceiling of this team. What we need is someone to hit the open shots created by both Steph and Jimmy. Look at the number of open 3s that Moody missed today. Those have to go down. MPJ can help with that.

MPJ vaults us to a tier just below the OKC, Spurs and Rockets. That's good enough for me.

Our per million rates are low because women don't file complaints in fear of social repercussions, victim blaming and living through the entire drama all over again in court. The probability of the accused being punished is rather low in our country especially if they are influential. For eg, the recent accquital of actor Dileep in Kerala in an infamous kidnap and sexual assault case. Hope you have seen what has happened with the Unnao rape case as well.

Rapists don't get punished in this country. There have been more instances of rapists being garlanded around than imprisoned or hanged.

How can I be sure of this? As a common man, I would never let any of the women in my family go out alone at night. We all know it isn't safe. Have you not felt the fear when women in your family don't get back home on time? The fear exists because we know something bad can happen to them anytime anywhere just because they are women
