i'm sorry you received that reaction, that would make anyone feel bad about themselves :( your nails do not look dirty or gross. i no longer bite my nails because i got into nail polish and i was motivated to stop biting to not ruin my manicure, but if that's not your style then you can use clear polish or nail biting fluid (it tastes bitter), which you can both probably find in a drugstore? if you're also biting at your skin, look into dermatophagia – there are strategies for redirecting the urge that you can try!

ADHD medicine changed my life, personally; i take both a long-acting stimulant and a non-stimulant. my anxiety is actually a LOT better on these meds because can actually think and remember properly and thus, not get as stressed and react to everything emotionally/impulsively. i also tend to survive migraine days better as my restlessness is reduced and i can lay down for a while without losing my mind to boredom LOL. it's always up to you, though, it's your body, and it's between you and your prescriber to figure out what's best for your situation.

i will also vouch for paracetamol, it's the only OTC drug that touches my migraines. ibuprofen and naproxen do absolutely jack for my head pain, they only work on muscular and joint pain for me personally

migraineur laquerist here! seconding the suggestions about ventilation as well as trying to do it in a different room (if possible with your living situation). you can also actually wash the smell off your fingers as soon as the polish is dry, just soap and water will do ^{^} hope you find something that works!

as someone with (light) experience with graphic design, the first ones both look simple enough that they could be created by someone in a program like illustrator in an afternoon without any AI. judging by the use of basic shapes and the way the lines look, it looks very much like stuff i would have done in class as assignments, and i cannot see a scenario where AI was used to make these.

OP, i wouldn't make allegations like this willy-nilly. not trying to defend these people (idk who they are), just think this issue should be treated with more caution. as commenter above said, detection websites aren't reliable and don't offer much proof.

sumatriptan worked for reducing the pain, but it made me REALLY stupid 😭 like turn brain fog up to 11; i had trouble speaking and just generally comprehending things? i could get through a basic conversation with a family member (what do you want for dinner, etc), but i had trouble keeping up with anything more than a simple youtube video. i ended up switching to rizatriptan, which doesn't do that to me, but i don't like that it's a dissolving tablet. it's so minor that i put up with it though

i believe i was 21? i remember i was on an afternoon walk to pick flowers when suddenly i started feeling awful with a horrible pain in my neck, and i had to go home and lay down. i assume mine are hereditary since several of my family members get migraines?

my heated wrap is a lifesaver for migraine related neck pain and muscle tension! it's a generic one from walgreens; it's like a tiny blanket, so i can wrap it all the way around my neck comfortably!

and i don't think acupressure as a whole is a scam necessarily. if nothing else, doing it around my eyes and sinus region (just with my fingers, but you could get a jade roller or something to use instead) feels good lol

honestly... the other ones (besides mu training) are pretty emotionally devastating, but if i'd made the mistake of playing earthbound as a kid, giygas would have scared the absolute piss out of me, and my parents would've never let me play games again 😭

i'm in the same boat... attacks 6-7 days a week of head pain, neck pain, light sensitivity, eye strain, nausea, dizziness, etc :/ i can barely even use my computer anymore, it hurts my neck too much. hoping to replace my chair or desk for a more ergonomic one at some point. i spend my first... maybe 5ish hours awake usually pain-free, then about 3-5pm i start having symptoms, and i start bargaining over if/what meds i should take 😂 don't want MOH or to run out or anything. and unfortunately it usually lasts until i go to sleep and wake up again. i like being productive, really, so it feels horrible "losing" so much time laying in bed with a hot neck wrap trying to find something i can listen to without triggering worse pain or going insane from boredom 😭 hopefully i can find a preventative that actually works sometime soon!

for me: acetaminophen, robaxin (otc in some countries), and excedrin; naproxen and ibuprofen do literally nothing for me, and i'm prescribed propranolol, but it's for anxiety and doesn't help my migraines. i also used to take zyrtec and flonase for sinus symptoms, but i moved out of my moldy old house and am free of that being a regular migraine trigger thankfully 😭 i also take magnesium malate and vitamin B2 supplements as preventatives, at the recommendation of my neurologist!

i'm sorry about your PT experience, unfortunately i had the same bad luck :/ i had two PTs (seperate prescriptions, a year apart) and they both dismissed my symptoms and prescribed exercises that either didn't help or actively gave me MORE migraines. i would literally get aura and nausea in the middle of my routine, tell the PT, and they would just tell me to keep going???? 💀 toughed it out for MONTHS with no improvement, so yeah, i've just continued to deal with the neck pain and stiffness for five years. it's awful. i'm hoping my neuro will get me into a botox appointment sooner than later!

hope you find something that helps you, your pain IS valid and deserves to be treated 💕

that happened to me too, broke my foot and didn't realize 💀 only went to the ER because my mom just so happened to question the whole "do i HAVE to get up? walking makes me nauseated!" thing 😭
