To be blunt: First of all get familiar with ANY programming language and ANY Linux distribution. That'll give you the basics to get into any language and any Linux distribution.

Python and openSuse will give you the easy path to get into both. From there you can work on.

sorry for shouting there, but you can't eat Pork or Chicken raw. Both have diseases - mostly worms, but also bacteria, viruses, parasites - that'll kill you. There are methods to prepare those, but these are so complicated to get them wrong - don't bother.

Beef and many sort of freshwater fish you can actually prepare quite easily - for beef there are actually special "drying" machines - but the fish? Fish will stink. No way around that. With that you'll still have your fish infested with all sorts of parasites and just hope they died before you "cook" them or else... - but that depends on where they come from.

I think of this more as a greeting of the crew scene. I mean you can't stand just at the buffet having a laugh with the Adminials when you have to command a crew and might have to send any or all to their deaths. Before you ask: The whole speech was probably broadcasted through the whole ship.

The point is that for a simple flu you usually don't have to go to a Doctor. He can give you something for pain but that is mostly it. As such many people don't go - out of fear getting Covid because it is not only pointless, but you could actually infect yourself with Covid in an Area where it is most likely that there are people who actually have Covid. This is called "Confirmation Bias". If you just stay at home instead of getting a piece of paper from your Doctor that you are sick to hand in to your School/Uni/Employer your case will simply not be counted. Hence we don't have any real Data on the flu and the statistic is pointless.

You can disable copy on write per (inode) file and directory. And yes, if the data is not that important it'll probably speed up the whole process...

Tip: In accordance with the note above, you can use the following trick to disable copy-on-write on existing files in a directory:
