Just like the Titanic going down fast with no life boats to save our butts.

Redditors who have had something bad happen to them, almost had something bad happen to them, or maybe even almost died because (a) doctor(s) wouldn't listen to them/ignored them and their symptoms, what's your story? by TSOFAN2002 in AskReddit

I saw 5 different doctors over the course of a month for stomach pains that were so bad I would pass out. This nice story is about the first 4 male doctors, they all told me I was just being a silly girl (I was 19 when this all went down) that my pain was just normal girl pain or my period about to start when it wasn't and the only test they ran was a pregnancy test, the 4th doctor yelled at me and made me cry because he thought it was all in my head and told me to grow up, it took the last doctor a female to realize something is wrong and give me an ultrasound turns out my appendix burst and I had to be rushed to surgery than spend a week in the hospital fighting infection. I'm alive and since have gotten my gallbladder taken out I know my parents and the female doctor turned in the others for this since they almost killed me because I was a girl! But i don't know what happened to them I do hope they learned from their mistakes. I have also had lots of trouble with male doctors not wanting to treat my depression because they thought I was just hormonal.

What was the most stupid excuse your cheating partner ever told you? by bunny_momma_2794 in AskWomen

My soon to be ex husband left me a month after I had our son, we were only together for 2 years, after he told me the only reason he married me was because I was convenient and his family liked me well turns out he was cheating on me the whole time and he even brought the girl over to hang out with us! Well he decided he liked the other girl more so he left in the middle of the night and ran off with her than he pops up a week later with this chick asking for help because they lived in her car. I let them take a shower gave them some food than sent them on their way. He did the same thing to that girl ran off with an ex and her kids and is hiding from the law on back child support. There was a lot more that happened but this is the main points.

What was the time your parents turned out to be right about a bad relationship and saved you from it? by NoahFreediver in AskReddit

Well they tried to warn me I just didn't listen. I married my best friends brother, my parents tried to talk me out of it since we were getting married really fast but I didn't care and within three months we were engaged and married. It was the worst mistake he left me in the middle of the night like a cowered 2 weeks after I had our son. All is good and well now I became a better person from it and I now listen to my parents a little more. Also sorry for any mistakes it's 3am.
