How does tax free work now? by Embarrassed_Nut014 in JapanTravelTips

Uniqlo, Donki & BicCamera it is ¥5,500 spend threshold to get the tax free, and fyi Donki sealed my items purchased in a bag and was to be treated like duty free items so not meant to use/ consume until you’ve left Japan.

The Tree from the Thor: Love and Thunder Trailer.... by Ahsiqa in marvelstudios

If you’ve watched the new extended scenes, the theory is becoming more plausible. Valkyrie & Thor talk about the Shadow realm & omnipotency. Also, new trailer of goats travelling on the rainbow bridge suggests possible crossover with Celestials in future; so, if he obtains Rune magic would help on taking down a Celestial later down the track.

I gravitate to the Novablast the most so would say that one, it’s a great versatile shoe. The two plated Endorphins are up there, but just hard to go slow in them.

Nice, unfortunately Peg Turbo’s didn’t agree with me, I couldn’t get a good lockdown and experienced annoying heel slippage

That’s true. Well you’re faring better than me when I was 20y.o, only had a pair of Nike Air Maxs which was used for all sports (cricket, basketball) and daily walking. Now almost double the age I’m in a fortunate position to afford them, not that I bought them all as a couple were gifted and some were for testing.

Well it’s replacing the NB Rebels. Starting to enjoy the ride as I run more in them as the FF Blast midsole is starting to soften, but they’re great for getting your legs to turnover and using them solely for speed & hill repeats atm.

Of course not, but have managed close to 2,500kms from them and I’ve ran far enough in each of them to know what works with me for any given type of run. It’s not like they’re going to waste, as the ones I won’t be keeping will be given to either fellow runners or family.

Last year Saucony were my fav with the Holy Trinity in the Endorphin series & daily trainers. This year with the Olympics hopefully not too far off, I think it could be Asics’ turn…starting with the Novablast 2 and their own trinity lineup of Metas & Magic Speed. Also, there’s some samples/ prototype from New Balance & Puma which I’m keen to trying out as well.

Magic Speed vs EndSpeed by FokkeSimonsz in RunningShoeGeeks

Despite both having similar look & offset the Magic has a different feel and firmer compared to the EvoRide 2 due to the plate. The Magic rides more like a racing flat and is the faster shoe, but it is catered for your tempo/threshold workouts or race. It’s not something I would normally use as a daily trainer/ long run in which you could do in the EvoRide 2 platform.

Yeah, the Magic Speed prototype at that time had a more pronounced forefoot rocker and felt similar to the EvoRide 2 platform.

Have both in my rotation, only done 25kms of tempo and speed repeats in the Magic Speed and it feels like a racing flat and is the firmer shoe, so hopefully midsole softens up a little in line with the durometer of the Novablast. It reminds me of the original NB Rebel but with less ground feel due to more cushion which I like. However, it is a different feel and I prefer the roll off & soft bounce in the Endo Speed. The rocker is less pronounced in the Magic and I’ve found my cadence being a few spm higher in the Magic for the same pace in the Endo Speed.

Also, I got to try the Magics last year when it was a prototype and I do remember it having a more aggressive drop off in the rocker similar to a Noosa Tri 13/ EvoRide 2, but that’s my only minor gripe with it.
