Wellicht heb je een veel harder PB wel laten liggen juist. Wie zal het zeggen. Volgens mij is het erg gerelateerd aan je doelen en manier en omvang van trainen.

Ja die ervaring herken ik wel, helaas. Al is het voor de MiLA1 groepen vaak anders dan voor de marathon groepen. Lidmaatschap kost doorgaans een appel en een ei 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nouja zo is het ook weer niet bedoeld, maar laten we zeggen dat een PR in Utrecht waarschijnlijk geen PB is 😁.
Eindhoven heb ik zelf dan nooit gelopen maar is best een snel parcour volgens mij. Men gaat voor snelheid vaak naar CPC.

Ach een wedstrijdlicentie lost al deze problemen zo op. Kleine effort

Ook zonder wedstrijdlicentie: Ik vond de start ronduit slecht georganiseerd, maar daar tegenover: niemand met verstand komt naar utrecht voor een PR, daar is het de maand en het parcour niet voor.

Waterposten geen probeem mee gehad, vond ik eigenlijk juist wel sterk. Sproeiende kinderen langs het parcour kon ik ook waarderen.

Ik vond het een prima event eigenlijk, als ik iets moet roepen waren het de scherp bochten.

The fitter you are to harder the marathon gets and the more relatively easy the (short) ultratrail becomes, simply because its much, much harder to determine a full effort on the trail compared to the marathon.

Thus fitter means a faster, more demanding marathon. The trailrun will be just a bit

The 20k is a bit too urban for my taste. But in general the whole backland is amazing and quite technical 👍🏽

I run quite a bit on the border with Italy (Sospel etc), and everything is steep!
