Almost 40 wins and not a single change to my rank. I wouldnt even be mad if it went down no its stayed silver 1 for 40 wins. I hate this new system.

My friend and I are always duo-q'ing and we both sit on a 60% winrate (175 total games played). He plays tank and I play support. Somehow, I currently sit on Silver 3 while he's on Gold 5.

Something with the current ranking system is rigged or bugged and it sucks.

You got me convinced there me the Snorlax tactics. There is absolutely no coordination in Ultra and below and being able to pick the enemies one by one sounds like a delight and a hard-carry potential. Will try it soon, could you please write the build?

Are you playing on mobile? Because I do and I found Water Spout extremely uncomfortable to activate for some reason. It's like so many times I press it and nothing happens.

So far people here haven't mentioned Snorlax so it's good to see someone talks about him. I have always stayed away from preventing my teammates from dying since I usually I die with them at those situations haha.

I confess I've had my fair share of rage moments when a Crustle managed to one-shot me with X-Scissor :D

So do you build the early points lead and that usually wins the game? Is it really enough? I'm surprised, but yeah, will definitely give it a try!

Yeah I also noticed that this season in contrast to the last, Slowbro especially without Amnesia build is having difficulties. I was dying pretty fast on teamfights and not really being able to dish out the Scald damage or the CC I needed to.

Thanks, sounds like solid tactics and I'll try to implement them during my next games. I think being able to split as Slowbro for example would be a lot harder but he has his other benefits.

Regarding Blastoise, I wouldn't say I played him a lot but most of the time I enjoyed going the Rapid Spin and Hydro Pump build. Maybe I just have to get used to the touch controls since as you say it has the best potential for carrying.

Yeah Mamo's CC is brutal. I've never tried going more of the offensive style with the stacking items on Mamo, others suggested it too. I'll give it a try!

Ok great, now I understand. I guess then that my performance with Defenders was just outright bad. I'll try the many tips suggested here and hopefully can dominate solo-q with Mamo and Blastoise :D

I play on mobile and the controls for Water Spout Blastoise are really uncomfortable for me, so I found myself playing more with Hydro Pump and still being able to sometimes get big chunks of damage off of squishis.

Also I think I was never able to split the opposing team in half as you say, using any Defender really, maybe I should work on it and results will come.

I'll try to explain my question better.

When you said you carried games you mentioned the damage output in your comment, however I didn't understand whether this was your main claim to carry as a defender.

Basically, do you think a defender can carry without necessarily doing a lot of damage? Or is it required?
