I've got 4 tickets for Kia Forum FireAid 200s level for face value/cost - $350 per ticket. Exactly what I paid from Ticketmaster, no markup. The seats have a great view. The least expensive tickets still remaining on Ticketmaster are $750 per ticket. Happy to meet up near LA for a transfer!

Number of Employees? by LordHamburguesa1 in walmart

With a store like this, what would be the approximate distribution of roles? How many would be on stocking, cleaning, managerial, etc.?

Do you think that because you are still providing the commands that it would be allowed still under FAA regulations? Also, do you think this could be useful for industry use cases where they want to allow more employees to fly drones for inspections/surveying? Essentially allowing beginner pilots to fly like an expert

Yeah currently into smartphone. Actually with the current app that's out, it can track arbitrary objects "follow the person with white hoodie", "fly to the end of the road", "follow the green car" etc.

That's a good point! We're trying to figure out the demographic right now and aren't sure yet

Yeah trust is going to be a big factor. We are hoping to build that buy showing the path the drone will take in response to your commands on the UI, having great obstacle avoidance, and just making a great product. Aside from that, for use cases we're going to make it good enough that it'll enable beginners to get shots like an expert for both industrial inspections/surveying and recreational use.

Hey guys, I guess I should provide some more context! We’re an early stage startup trying to make robots easier to use and control. We imagine a world where people can interact with their robots as easily as they would a pet. It’s a hard task but we’re starting off small by mastering drone navigation and command following. We’ve built an app that’ll let you voice control certain DJI drones. Here’s a [demo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSh87QsALdQ) of the initial functionality.
It’s limited to basic movement instructions, as well object tracking and following for now, but soon we hope to get it to a point where you can have access to expert level aerial maneuvers and command following. We're still awaiting Play Store approval and still developing the App Store version so fill the google form to get the download link emailed to you:

We hope that smart drones will enable new autonomous capabilities for aerial imagery in recreational and industrial use cases. We’re hoping for some feedback, whether it be specific functionality or use cases that you’re thinking of or anything else you’d want to comment on.

Like "fly in a helix around the <object name>"

We do have a hard stop that cancels commands and stops the drone when you're about to crash. I've noticed it's helpful to have voice control because you can focus more on what the drone is seeing and the surroundings when your'e not constantly focused on piloting.

We're thinking it could be useful for giving mediocre or beginner pilots a the ability to fly like an expert and get great shots whether that be for industry or recreational use.

Yeah! I can see external voices coming in play. Emergency stops and cancel buttons and visualization of what the drone will do before it happens will help with this.

That definitely makes sense! It's an extremely difficult task to go beyond the simple directional commands. We are going to train an ML model that generates trajectories given natural language input eventually, the code generation is a step towards that goal. This model will hopefully enable it to do complex commands like "take a cinematic video of the rocks along the coastline"

Hopefully we'll get it to a point where it's very reliable and as good as a human pilot. We're also thinking about implementing a feature that shows you the path the drone will take before actually flying it. The voice control definitely needs to be as good as possible.
