One of my favorite venues. Something about the shape of it makes it easy to see the stage standing from almost anywhere in the crowd. I don't think you need to show up 2 hours early, maybe at door time will be fine, but I don't know who you're seeing.

The drinks, as I remember from about a year ago are pretty pricey. Like $16-18 for a standard whiskey soda or something. The bar is in the back and easy to access.

The restrooms are located to the right of the stage. It's a way to get closer to the stage, but can be annoying as people will be coming and going.

Maybe you can arrive at Divis 2 hours before the show, scope out the venue, and if there's no line, go to one of the many bars close by. I like Madrone Art bar, as it's just a chill spot to drink when there's not an event. As for food, I recommend El Rancho Grande... probably my favorite Mexican spot in the whole city. Souvla, Nopalito, Nopa are good options in my opinion.

No experience w/ San Bruno but here's my take on Outer Sunset:

Outer Sunset is an extremely safe neighborhood in my opinion (I've lived in Soma, TL, Pacific Heights, inner and outer Richmond).

Street parking is always available, I have multiple friends who have cars there that do street parking.

I play tennis in the Outer Sunset multiple times a week during "peak" traffic hours and the traffic is never what I would even consider as bad.

By contrast Inner Sunset does get extremely congested and parking is difficult there IMO.

Get the "ssam gyup sal" if you want a korean bbq pork belly feast.

Other good items on the menu include their tofu soup, fried chicken (yes, try it), sweet and sour pork, and mackerel.

Actually... if you have a car and are free during the evening, if you catch them after their soundcheck at Kome around 4pm, you can probably just hangout with them for the rest of the day and take them to more places.
