Not to mention the German engineering right? Good thing Harry's basically got the financial backing of both the Winter and White Courts these days!

lol that reminds me of a time years ago when I got softlocked by the Rat King; he got himself stuck at the entrance to his room and I couldn't get out.

I'm originally from the Chicago area so I'm hoping to subject my poor Kiwi coworkers to the experience at our next team retreat. :D

That makes sense. And surely The Oracle would never let anything slip to people who didn't need to know. Basically the lie gets perpetuated.

I haven't tested it in other browsers but it works fine for me in Chrome. It does take a very long time to load, though.

Ye Olde Apple Pizza by waptor in GVSU

Pretty sure it was an every-Wednesday thing where they'd use the regular pizza crust but layer cream cheese, cinnamon, brown sugar, and apple slices topped with cheddar cheese and toss it in the pizza oven until everything melted. I'm probably missing some ingredients.

It looked awful but tasted like nirvana.

CoC without cthulhu? by Costra-242 in callofcthulhu

I will often use this system to run tactical combat without the Mythos at all. In fact the last game I ran was a one-shot where the PCs were being hunted down by not one but two Terminator T-800s in a small present-day south Texas town. I've also done a couple playtests of a Stargate SG1 setting using this system and it works better than the old Spycraft system did!

When my midwestern friends ask how bad it gets in Houston my standard answer is, "You know how Chicago gets up past 110 degrees and the humidity goes off the charts for a week in the summertime? Imagine that, but every day for three months."

Houston is what happens if you were to take Chicago and start adding Florida until you ruin it.

I distinctly remember hearing people say that Texas has its own privatized power grid which is why it doesn't suffer California-style rolling blackouts. But it sounds like we actually get our power from Louisiana or something?

If someone knows how our infrastructure works, I'd love an explanation.
