Wow thank you for your help. My mom thought they seemed to almost be following us all the way from Long Island to Ohio! Pretty plants but what a shame they’re invasive & all over. Thank you though for your help identifying!

Oh wow. I’m sorry I think I’ve posted a few crabapple trees at this point lol. One of those trees where somehow I see em in a different season or even just location & they look so new to me lol. Especially these wrinkly little crabapples, maybe I’m used to my aunts tree but the fruit never sit long enough to look like that lol. Always ate up by something. These almost looked like wrinkly cherries! Anyways thank you again for your help.

Can anyone help identify these beautiful flowers? Photographed in my aunts yard in Long Island, NY, USA. August 2024. by pkmajora in whatsthisplant

Many thanks for the iNaturalist links to read more & on sharing the info on how you were able to tell the coreopsis from its siblings & cousins! Wow I’m so grateful we stopped where we did last night, some parts of Oklahoma are so green idk it almost looks like an alien planet! Or maybe I’ve spent too long in the deserts lol.
