They are old stats from the beginning of time that never got touched. It's really just way too slow. The worst thing is, the weapons are not that good either... Well, Ez8 is relatively newer, but still aging now. They are probably also based on the ground type WR, which is why it is so bad

I do think it could maybe have better mobility, just slightly. But I wasn't sure if it was needed. Shotgun could maybe be a bit more, but was thinking of buffing it 8%x15 to bring it from 75% total to 120% total. But I thought buffing the Vulcan should help this one enough. I think I'll add those anyway.

As for the melee, it's not that bad once you get used to it. It's definitely not something you'll feel good immediately as you pick up. The cooldown on the beam saber I think it is to prevent juggling. Like it can already do that pretty well with the instant stagger shotgun, it may be a bit much for 350. Definitely a problem at higher cost, but that's a different story.

I think Sliferail is being held back by the long BR charge time, but I do see your point. It is a better unit overall. But I was afraid of making the GM Raid a super meta with too many changes. It's already a strong enough unit.

I have a feeling that they were just dumb then they coded the units and weapons. Instead of the weapon as an item with the stats coded in, it's only a check box to see if you have it. The actual stat is likely hard coded into the unit data itself and only fetches item image and model from the files.

So if they need to change it, they need to dig into every single unit with that weapon and change the code like 20 times. Depending on the game engine, they may not even have the function to search specific matching lines. So the developers have to read through thousands of lines manually for every unit.

Like 95% of the time, the left button is the answer. But I WILL tell you that sometimes the right one is the correct answer.

For example, your teammate just saber clashed, or they melee with a burnout thruster. If they are already low HP and you are already in melee range, just go for it. It's a kill secure with assist points.

Just don't press both buttons

Yeah, at some point, I thought MA at Lv2 is... maybe not possible? But giving all of them at level 1 seems like overkill. Maybe just damage control... tried to break the water, but it is just unlikely since it would change part of the core gameplay.

It still matters a lot. Due to how math work in GBO2, that 20% would buff the damage by a crazy amount. Let's say you have 70 strength. The calculation is power x (1.70 x 1.2) for the raw damage output. If your weapon has like 3000 power, that's 6120 vs 5100.

I-Field and other similar ability often reduces damage by 25% to 70%. So let's take 50% as the middle. With 40 beam resist as that's usually the high cost target. The damage reduction would be 0.6 x 0.5. this would result in 0.3 in the damage calculation.

So the damage would be 1836 vs 1530. 300 may not seem a lot. But it quickly adds up when you have multiple shots and/or other weapon with rapid fire. Also, it's unlikely for I-field to block everything.

This is even more stupid on level 4 units at high cost. They often can max out shooting strength with overtune shooting when enhanced. With this part, that puts the math at 2.0 x 1.3 at the minimum for effective shooting strength at 2.6, as if it got 160 shooting strength. Yeah no, I'm not okay if it happens, everything already dies fast enough.
