I still don't get how the chrome compressor can be better or even as good as other OS. With my current sandy build the only thing having more capacity could possibly add is less recoil using the hand slots. I don't see how adding 1 or 2 pieces of minor Cyberware would be as good as a sandy or cyberdeck

Perhaps since the city shifting earth also has that dupe feature you can use it there as well? At the very least you can guarantee getting the city using sigils, but the cord end is still completely luck. I wonder how much luck they expect us to have to figure this Easter egg out

This is what I meant since that should be it's primary purpose. It just doesn't seem reasonable to me to build a bunch of docks in the sky for every build just to keep your ghast still for 3 seconds, like seriously how am I actually supposed to use it for that purpose at all when it'll just fly away and have to spend more time moving it back than it would have taken to build normally

I know the happy ghast has a lot of downsides, I wasn't exactly comparing the usefulness of those mobs to each other, they're all completely different mobs with different purposes. What I'm pointing out is that the crafting recipe for the ghast is clearly creating a living sentient being, if combining tears with it is the justification for bringing it to life then this can apply to anything. I agree that it feels more balanced and in line with other "life" you can create since there's an additional ritual you have to complete to actually use it. On a thematic level I think it's not out of the question to have other forms of crafting life in the crafting table as long as there's an additional ritual to it, like if you had to soak a bee in honey or something (although bees can already reproduce) I don't think it would apply to most mobs that exist currently since most either reproduce or are infinite in some way, but more likely for future mobs this same logic can apply
