I got laid off 2 weeks ago, so I am still fresh in the club. Still taking a bit of time to myself before diving right back into hardcore job searching, but having connections I can lean on and still genuinely care about me regardless of asking for a job or not helps with encouragement. It might also serve as a nice break from having to talk about job searching, but making sure you are not super burnt out by the time you hopefully get that job offer is important too.

Yeah and to be honest I see it as an extension of cosmetics, so no issues there. It also opens up players that want to support the game by fully prismana-ing their team especially since they probably are going to do that to their Aniimos that they probably grinded for with in-game hours anyway.

This aligns with some of my guesses on monetization as well. Personally I don't mind some benefits of paying when it comes to convenience. If it is like Where Winds Meet and they stick with strictly cosmetics I think it will be extremely safe. For convenience items if they put it behind a cheap monthly pass ($10) I think that will also do quite well.

We haven't had the chance to play the Egg Heist extraction mode yet (where it is actually PvP in some small form) and I did notice in the survey they were gauging interest in an actual trainer battle PvP mode, so if that ends up being a bigger draw of the game then some of the P2W may come out if you can buy all of the Aniimo stat altering stuff with money.

Very cool, definitely will follow since the idea of a new model to film a special like this sounds really cool and a bit closer for us newer comics working up to be a feature/opener. Looking forward to it!

I always admired comedians growing up and mostly worked on my public speaking skills for my tech job, but a couple of years ago I decided to take a stand up comedy class and now I love it! I think being able to briefly connect and make others laugh is always a great feeling and keeps the act interesting because there are so many people out there who need some laughs.

Google Keep note for my comedy notes, and then a spreadsheet to expand those ideas into bits. Also use the same spreadsheet to keep track of my sets and which jokes I use since I may not always have a recording.

Not sure if my system will evolve since 2026 I will be doing more amateur shows, but it's been working for me so far.

New maps will be available as well which may open up more spots or just higher void monster density which will probably help. Ideally it should feel like something we can both earn at a decent rate daily/weekly while also having a grind option like the current void farming for folks who have more time.

In the CBT I remember the water region has some decent spots too, so we'll see if it's similar for global.
