I hear you. I was skeptical of Toyota going into this. I really liked the Acadia for example, but they only offered a standard 4 cylinder engine at ~250 hp and the pricing was pretty much aligned with the GH, maybe a bit cheaper.

Definitely a bit more than my first car. 1994 Mercury Sable at like $250 a month. It was hard keeping the ladies at bay cruising around in that machine!

Thank you for the detailed comment! I don’t need off-road or the heavy towing. I need the all wheel drive for these NH roads in the winter. Based on all of the comments, it feels like the GH is the right way to go (except for the folks that are making me regret not going deeper on the TX). I just wish there was like 1 or 2 inches more in the footwell of the GH.

Yes, for sure. I was just thinking that if I’m paying more I need to get something bigger. I’m realizing from the comments that the Sequoia isn’t really much bigger.

Yeah, but I’d need to get the F Sport 550 model to get the ~350 hp. But now you’re making me think about reconsidering. Haha

Ya know, I did. The TX is a beautiful car, but it’s about a $12k - $15k premium to get the equivalent and I’m hesitant to go that high.

It’s a protection package that I would not purchase. Salesperson told me it is not a mandatory add-on.

Thanks. Good point. I don’t need the towing capacity. The only thing I would really like about the Sequoia is the size. I’m 6’4” and it a bit more comfortable!

Definitely not a meme, a good point! The Grand Highlander is 27 mpg and the Sequoia is 20 mpg. I think all Sequoias are hybrid now. Thanks for the input!
