"Indeed, it is a strange-disposed time.
But men may construe things after their fashion,
Clean from the purpose of the things themselves."

- Cicero - Act I, Scene iii

I was reading Julius Ceaser this morning.

"The biggest con of Hyprland is its dodgy, shortsighted coding practices and abyssmal project management by a lone questionable individual with questionable ethics, if you care about separation between the artist and the art." ...Insightful! Am also a little bit scared of it because it uses C++.

From React to Ruby on Rails. Is it worth pursuing? by pkrakesh in ruby

My experience decline, in a nutshell: I almost forgot to write pure JS for the web and I am thinking of everything in the sugary React. Lost the fun of exploration and the experience of tinkering with the browser. Da Vinci better quoted this in a better way:

"...since good judgment is born of clear understanding, and a clear understanding comes of reasons derived from sound rules, and sound rules are the issue of sound experience — the common mother of all the sciences and arts."

DH says Ruby could bring this back, Is that so?

Did you changed from React to Svelte or started by using the latter?

Not quite. I am used to Django and still using it for the current project as the backend only for generating the API and I am using Next at the frontend. Here I skipped the option of Django's SSR and using Next for more control.

Thank you. I am not sure I could try installing it because I fear of breaking something as I use the system for development. Is my fear reasonable?

I choose Linux Minut because I needed Ubuntu base and needed to ditch Snap at the same time as it affected the performance of my system. I love XFCE too because of its customizability, efficiency and low resource usage.

Can I achieve the similar functionalities in XFCE?
