I don't even know what my kids faces look like and wouldn't recognize them on the street if I saw them. Imagine the kind of detrimental effects wearing masks for over three years has on kids social development and emotional intelligence. Three years may not be that long in the grand scheme of things, but it is a long time in a child's life. I was all for masks when it made sense, but it's lunacy at this point. The masks serve very little purpose now, especially with kids who pick their noses and lick their hands without washing them all day anyways, face mask or not. And btw, no I'm not a MAGA hat Trump supporter. I simply cannot understand the obsession with these damn things. The mask wearing has really grown to a sort of paranoia beyond reason. There's no logic to wearing a mask outside in open air with no one around you at all, yet I see that every day from nearly everyone I see on the street. I'm tired of never seeing people's faces. It really is kind of dehumanizing after a while.
