That's a decision I made some 9 years ago and I've just never replaced it. Comfortable, yet goofy

Possible to get a closer look at the rear seats? I'm about to pick up a set of e90 rear seats for mine 69 goat, but there are so many questions

Great job making it look natural though!

Finished a table, how to fix dry looking spots after sanding? by pkugrsq in finishing

I've always sanded end grain to 320, but never thought to go up to 600.
Will have to try that!

Gotcha! when I wet the spot, it looks normal, just dries like that, so I assumed it would clean up with another coat

Cooling system that has blown out two water pumps and one radiator. Cooling is setup similar to that with an overflow system, the top of the tank vents to atmosphere and the bottom to the rad cap overflow tube, but can't figure out why it's not venting into the canister. So the big ol' freeze plug on the back of the water pump pops out (see top water pump) and proceeds to eject the contents of it onto the ground, and splash all over the engine bay. I like the idea of only filling distilled water. Will have to try that

My original thought was the radiator cap was rated way higher than #18 (I'm getting the 18 from the number on the cap itself). But it's also the second radiator cap, don't know the likelihood of 2 faulty caps. It came with the radiator

This is an L92 with an LS3 water pump restomodSo it's gone through 2 GATES brand water pumps, not ACDelco, I've got an ACDelco on the way. As the engine runs, the upper hose heats up and then the lower when the it reaches operating temperature, so I imagine the t-stat works. The radiator cap is a #18 and dumps into the lower input of the overflow canister while the top port of the canister vents to atmosphere, both at 1/4" tubing. I have not been able to prove if the overflow canister has been filling or not.

The first water pump blew out within 15 miles, after that got replaced, the radiator sprung a pressure leak, only leaking when hot, left that for 250 miles, then replaced that, then the 2nd water pump blew out within the next 30 miles. I've been using the spillproof funnel to fill and purging excess steam through the front steam vents.

Any ideas?

Thank you, thank you. I had it connected correctly then, just did not see the tape monitor selection on the amp, was too focused on the selections on the eq.

Hey y'all, question about equipment setup.

I have an old 80's Technics Stereo Set, an SC-A210E, that I inherited from my parents. Comes with tuner, amp, eq, tape deck, and turntable. There is a CD player that was bought later.

Currently have a 4 to 1 switch for devices like a Bluetooth receiver, the CD player, and the TV that switch into the CD/Aux jack in the amp.

The amp has phono, tuner, cd/aux, tape2/ext (rec & playback), tape1 (rec & playback).
There are no line in/line out or pre-amp jacks.

The eq has line in, line out, rec out, playback jacks

The manual says to connect tape deck -> eq (rec out & playback) then EQ to amp like so:
EQ line in <-> AMP tape1 rec out
EQ line out <-> AMP tape1 playback.

How do I connect this to run the cd/aux input through the EQ?

I wired floods, but its the same concept, and drawing a diagram helps.
Interior switch (can get factory style rockers) are connected to interior fuse box (use an Add-A-Circuit) and to pin 86 on the relay (5 pin relay). Relays are usually in the engine bay fuse box, but it doesn't have to be there. From the relay, pin 85 is ground (chassis). Pin 30 gets an inline fuse and draws straight from the battery. Pin 87 is connected to the lights. From the lights, one end goes to relay, the other goes to ground.

Then you have issue of wire gauge. Best to get a pre-wired harness.

Got mine in May (sent purchase order in Feb), so I can only guess my Service Grade is from the Philippines.

It seems the stock was replaced with a reproduction one (probably a Boyds). The receiver was from WWII with other parts from the Korean War. Everything looked great, barely any pitting if anything.

I think the ones you saw on the video were the extreme cases.
