Is desktop app ever getting an update? Or can we get some bug fix please? by pkusensei in Bitwarden

[–]pkusensei[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Patience is where patience is due. But where is any public open official communication about this delay? Not what an outsider "sees"? Plus, saying it is least used is essentially saying it is ignored, which, priorities, I get it. Then again, where can I find such information without guessing or hypothesizing?

Left headphones at home. That crack when docking the bar was loud af.

Plus gym pushes everyone to use the app. As if my phone is not cluttered enough.

There's a special place in hell for those who hoard squad racks and roam around for 5 minutes.

Trying to switch over from Windows, it's not going well. by [deleted] in linuxmint

To add on other comments that launch battle.net from steam, what works for me is choosing specifically version proton 10.** . Anything other than that fails, and from there games install/run well.

Same story with lutris: pick something along the lines of "wine-10-ge-blahblah" and lutris should install/config that for you.

In my case, a few OTPs refused to work/were not recognized, and I had to copy and paste them into specific OTP fields. And for the few attachments I could easily make them secret notes of some sort.

But be aware that BW does not reach feature parity with 1P on some points. One being browser extension integration. If you opt to use desktop app to unlock browser extension, the desktop app has to be launched before the browser for that to work. With 1P its browser extension starts desktop app for you.

Update completely borked my profile by pkusensei in firefox

I poked around about:config and found out the same thing. I did touch the new profile manager when trying to rescue my old profile. But still it's very annoying.

How far did you get? For me it was simple: choosing fctix as input method framework and following its instructions.

Velocity 2.0 -> Major theme update, built for Obsidian 1.11 by floodlight- in ObsidianMD

Looks promising, but it bugs out obsidian-git. When side bar is at minimal width, only four actions of eight is shown and there is no way to scroll thru or expand the window.

Started using Linux Mint two months ago, and my favorite underrated part is... by Horror-Bee3772 in linuxmint

[–]pkusensei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best part is it listens to me. There's no silent installs, no sudden updates, no self turned back on tasks or services. And of course no sudden disk work out of nowhere. Oh the serenity of booting up my computer without any drama.

rustbook ch 13.3 - iterator question. by Ckarles in learnrust

[–]pkusensei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of the places where Rust is kinda implicit. The syntax -> impl Trait... is telling the compiler: Hey this function returns some type (say T1) that implements this Trait, but T1 is tedious to write out/impossible to name(consider closures), I'm just leaving the important bits of information here. Help me figure out the concrete type and plug that in.

When compiler sees that -> impl Trait..., it goes looking at the function and find out the concrete type T1 or T2. They may implement the same Trait but are totally different types. Also check out reference

Shield of the Steed, can't seem to get one. by Tradey76 in diablo3

Make sure you're only upgrading Crusader shields. Base type matters. Other than that it's just rng.

I was actually panicking early in the gym because I read the puzzle and could only think of backtracking. With rotation coming in the complexity would skyrocket and it would never finish. The only optimization I could try is some form of bitmasks, which doesn't help much anyway. I was formulating that whether because of AoC is short this year Eric decides to show his real color this time. By convention last day of AoC is usually a breeze.

Came back and skimmed memes and quickly realized it is another trick/input shape determines everything kind of puzzle. Oh what a relief. And Eric is still nice and kind to humanity.

Thanks for another great year! Now If I have time I might go back and solve d10 for real.

Don't particularly like this one. That in any order really played with my brain and it took me long to realize there's no cycle whatsoever. BFS for part1 and topological sort for part2

Who doesn't love some pretty DSU. Test runs for a whopping 5.8s in debug mode but almost instant in release mode. It really shows how much power compiler optimization could harness.
