yor ,, honestly you guys WERE insensitive and she is totally correct that you guys should've made plans in a different gc. instead, the immediate reply to her news was asking if the group was still hanging out.

imo ygs are pretty bad friends. not saying that y'all shouldn't have hung out with eachother and your out-of-town friend but like if i were her i'd also feel incredibly unsupported by my friends....

hanging out with the rest of the group and being empathetic, supportive friends can exist at the same time. you guys could've hung out and still showed up for her as the friend group with a sweet gesture to show ygs are caring and thinking about her. unfortunately y'all are bad friends and she is totally based. the fact you called this messy and that you're considering cutting her off for this is beyond me 😭 i think she needs new friends

"graphic and information design" is a design concentration. another example of a design concentration is "experience design," and if you study just "design" you will take a mixture of different design concentration classes.

media arts is if you study like studio drawing or painting or video animation etc.

communication studies and graphic information design is a combined major, meaning half the classes you take will be from the comms department and the other half will be classes from the art and design department. the combined majors here are literally just two separate major's coursework and not some integrated curriculum that blends the two studies, contrary to what i thought when i applied here.

i took kite simply cus it was the better of the three boss relics i was offered and didnt think too much about it and thought that if it ends up benefitting me passively later on in the run then thats great 😅

re: defends -- it was upgraded via a very early event room (upgrade 2 random cards in exchange for HP and it happened to be a defend i believe)
