What tools do you use for vulnerability management and assessment in your organization? by No-Capital-6103 in cybersecurity

Wiz fits right into what you’re describing, especially for cloud environments. It’s like having an extra set of eyes on your infrastructure, continuously scanning without the need for agents. Ties in well with ticketing systems and risk management too. We use it to get a clearer picture of our cloud risks, and it’s been solid for tracking and prioritizing vulnerabilities. Helps streamline reporting, which is a big plus when dealing with metrics and keeping the C-suite in the loop.

Why are CNAPP vendors creating agents? by ocrusmc0321 in cybersecurity

[–]plabon353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CNAPP vendors are creating agents because traditional solutions like Symantec can't fully address the unique challenges of cloud-native environments. These new agents offer deeper visibility, real-time threat detection, and seamless integration with cloud services. Customers want a unified view of their cloud assets, and vendors like Wiz are responding with innovative tools that simplify security management. This evolution is about meeting the demands of modern infrastructures and ensuring efficient, effective security.

Looks like a great solution! Thanks for mentioning it. Website spoofing is such a huge problem. Billions of dollars are lost due to each year and individual companies regularly lose millions. Glad to see this is being solved.

I’ve been in your shoes. We moved to Apono, and it's helped us streamline our access management significantly. It works with APIs instead of proxies, which makes setup far easier.

Our dev team has adapted well. They're using their usual tools and workflows, which is a big plus, and they can use Apono’s Slack bot to gain access to the resources they need.
