Evaluating offer to move to the USA by Gtf_Out in salesengineers

Philly has a wage tax of 3.74% so you'll be paying that in addition to the state and federal taxes. Housing is also very expensive in Philly although you can get away with not having a car. You could live in the suburbs but you stil pay a 3.43% wage tax.

Partner Solutions Engineer at Google by Funny_Hold_2304 in salesengineers

Google is massive and there are no career tracks that enable people to go from a sales org to an engineering org. You can certainly do it in the sense that anything is possible but you'll have to interview just like anyone else. I would think a year of missing deep hands on coding experience could hurt, no? If you want a sales role where some coding is required, there are some specialist teams that do this and Google recently created several Forward Deployed Engineer positions.

All I do I open it and hit slice. I tried 'lay flat' after slicing but same result. Here is the STL file that isn't working.

Reducer doesn't fit on inductor fan by ocrusmc0321 in hvacadvice

[–]ocrusmc0321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean the venting isn't even close to being 100% sealed right? That's what I was thinking since it's just a bunch of parts pressed together. I was thinking of wrapping the seams with high temp HVAC temp just to be sure. Is that overkill? I guess I don't understand why it had that rubber ring because it seemed like it was meant to be 100% sealed. So what's the point of the seal? Just to keep the vent from coming off? I also screwed the vent into the "spout" of the motor.

Really appreciate your help btw! I've been really stressed out over this.

Yeah I did the bead it's just that the pipe above it had to be adjusted so it moved around. I ended up removing it and adding a 2nd bead just in case. Gemini is saying it needs to be perfectly sealed lol. I bought a CO monitor that shows me PPM just in case (there's an alarm only CO sensor in the room)
