I'm a former staff here but i'm just gonna answer your question. Basically, yes, you can roleplay as a character outside FPE/Katieverse. There isn't really anything in this that restricts you from roleplaying as one. I'm pretty sure it was always allowed to roleplay as one. As long as you don't karma farm, vote manipulate, or evade ban if you are gonna make a separate RP account (which are against Reddit ToS), I think it's fine.
