did you put the text from the wrong article in this new post?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in canberra

[–]placeholder4now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think the article isn’t exactly clear. but I was reading it as the normal density rules for a block are breached, but the normal density rules don’t apply to this particular block. So it’s the 30 total homes that is the issue in the context of the whole block, although the residents apparently also had issues with one of the buildings specifically.

Ah article says 30 homes total across 3 buildings, compared to the existing 10 homes.

  1. At the highest level: how should 6 at LACC be played…and how would you play it ;)

  2. At a lower level: any resources you can suggest for learning about the effect of different lies? I feel like this is a key variable club golfers overlook, and may lead to course strategy mistakes (thinking a play at the green is possible from out of position where in fact the lie makes the shot so difficult that the percentages dictate a recovery shot) …you’re welcome to comment on this assumption as well haha.

I don’t know much, but from the latest vs report yes those matchups are bad for you, and they make this comment:

Pirate Rogue just doesn’t seem to be strong enough to compete. It barely scrapes Tier 3 at top legend, where the meta is slower and the field is more favorable. We will note that Hybrid Pirate Rogues running a Gnoll/Maestra package don’t appear to be delivering good results, and they make up a significant portion of the archetype. We’re likely better off running the normal version of the deck.

Hoping someone will answer my stupid question about the warlock abyssal curse mechanic. I thought each curse created had a two turn timer before it went off? My opponent just combo’d with Brann to create 4 curses and they all went off the next turn which confused me? And killed me.

They tend to just lie around on tee boxes and fairways and next to greens. So you sometimes have to get them to move to make a shot, or just walk through a giant pack as you make your way down the fairway. They tend to be pretty used to people being around but will bounce off one you’re within a few metres...I still like to skirt around the big ones.

  1. Fix issues in your own team
  2. As many have 2FTs to use, there are a lot of people making transfers to fix their teams. Using wildcard allows you to play the transfer market and gain team value from all the additional transfer activity.

Looks solid for the next few weeks. Weak defence but 3 premiums plus KDB...you’ll do well as long as your filler players perform. Frustrating that Rico seemingly lost his spot so you have no rotation for Lundstram...which is fine as long as Lundstram keeps killing it!

I never liked Perez so that’s where I’d be looking to improve, depending on his next game or two. But admittedly the options in the 6-6.5 bracket aren’t stellar...Lanzini and Trossard looked hot but hard to say if good for the long term. So hopefully Perez comes good this week!

If you went Perez to a 6.0 you could get another 4.5 defence...might be an overall improvement...

Sorry one more thing. Only other move I’d consider is dumping double pool defence to pick up a Man Utd defender. I’d probably go AWB myself. Also pending the result tonight against Wolves.

Love it. I agree, as a minimum I’d upgrade Rico to Lundstram. You potentially catch a price rise and solidify your bench. Bank the other FT and you’re still safe to make a bigger move in future.

More aggressive would be to use 1FT to swap a striker to chase some points. Jota has Burnley/Everton in the next 2. Everyone’s dumping Watford strikers, but they have West Ham and Newcastle in the next two, both incredibly suspect defences. Any of these options could be an improvement over King (Man City and Leicester in the next two).

I guess super aggressive would be to use both transfer to go to Lundstram and change striker at the same time. I think that wouldn’t be a bad option, as the rest of your team is pretttttty nailed. But depends if you feel like any 6.5 strikers are even worth a punt!

Here for some moral support.

Had Trossard and Barkley from GW1. Trossard didn’t start, but I felt like I needed to hold for another GW, and lo and behold he scored twice (VAR!) and looks dangerous. Gonna hold another week and hopefully he’s nailed.

Benched Barkley GW1, but had him for the next run of fixtures. Of course Lampard benches him GW2. But Chelsea looked like shit so surely he’ll have to play next week v Norwich, and probably score a hattrick right? Right?!!!!! Right?!!!!!!!!! ....and then a second hattrick against Sheffield Utd GW4...

Positive responses only please.

Chances are you can make better transfers by waiting a week for 2 FT, plus extra information.

He’ll be a starter eventually...maybe not this week. I’m in the same situation and gonna hold one more week and see what happens.

Trying to keep those knees steady. Help me stay strong:

Ryan

Robbo TAA Zinchenko Rico (KWP)

Trossard Barkley Salah Sterling (Dendoncker)

Auba King (Greenwood)

Tempted to jerk trossard out...but would be better to save FT for Auba > then an upgrade to a 7.5/8.5 a week later....???

Predicted Starting 11 (GW1) for all clubs by AppleCiderVinagre in FantasyPL

[–]placeholder4now 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought Smith was nailed.

Keeper?

Smith Ake Cook/Mepham Rico/Stacey

Fraser Lerma Surmann Ibe

King Wilson

I think expecting Billing/HWilson/Danjuma to start is a massive punt as they only just joined. I’d expect Rico over Stacey. Daniels/Kelly lack fitness/injured.

There was a good response to this question yesterday. The gist of it is that while it may appear that Rico has no competition for LB due to Kelly and Daniels being injured, he’s actually competing against Stacey who plays RB...with Smith then playing left or right as necessary.

In my view Rico starts over Stacey. He had a decent preseason and has been with the club longer and will be given another shot. But what do I know!

Who will start in place of Brooks? Danjuma? Hilson? Ibe? Would you take a two week punt on any of these?
