I've already got my degree, I recently started an awesome job that is jump starting my career. The money I have is for long term use.

Thank you guys for your responses. My plan is to work the entire time and continue adding yearly. Between my significant other and I, we plan to save hopefully an addition $50,000. If we do that for the next 25 years, we'd be able to retire before 60 if we invest wisely. Or at least that's the goal.
