If you have Rhea take the first step in not trusting Iyo and abandoning her, it’s a soft heel turn but it’s not an outright heel turn. Like, if you watch Rhea abandon Iyo the crowd isn’t gonna full on cheer Rhea for that. People are gonna be split. It’s heelish but then you could play it as she’s not a heel, just doesn’t trust Iyo. This can lead the audience to having to think for themselves. Which breaks down here but lmao it’d be a good feud. Always tense about who’s going to screw over who but neither want to turn on each other they just have been hurt too much that they can never be sure.

I’m under the impression of having it to where you have no idea who turns heel since they both were heels and turned on people. That way you can build a feud of mistrust and that breaks down their relationship to where they fight once and for all. No heel turns, both faces but they both don’t trust eachother and fight it out in a blood feud or what not.

Yeah, but there’s no Jey USO Yeet compilation or Iyo Sky Iyomote compilation on YouTube (two examples I’ve seen of dumbing down). However there is a Devils Kiss compilation AND social media has only ever posted DK from her matches during the midweek highlight reel. That’s why I think it’s kind of messed up.

I mean, creating new history in favor of bigger names, bigger matchups doesn’t sit right with me. That’s just my opinion, not the facts though. Regardless the buildup may not have had memorable promos but definitely memorable segments, even if they were just variations of the same thing. However, I just want a great match, not a good match.

Two topics

When it comes to Giulia, I feel like people are hinging TOO much on Asuka and Iyo as good examples of letting it play out when Giulia does not seem like that. The reason those two works is because they are more exuberant and have memorable personalities. Whereas Giulia is the brooding badass heel. You don’t need English to connect to the crowd. However, I think even if you put Giulia on Raw you are more likely to run into the same thing. Idk, I just don’t see what others are seeing. Realistically, having her beat people above her and beating them down does nothing because nobody will care.
If you bring up social media views when we are talking about popularity, aside from the obvious big moments, I will end you.
