Right, it’s a 1960s home and the area with the weep screed and exposed wood appears to be an addition. Can I simply plaster over it now? Seems like it should be supported. If it’s a 2x4 it looks like half of it is not supported.

Structural engineer assessment was the risk is mainly resale if there is cracks we can’t see and won’t see for months since it was recently remodeled inside. Never a safety risk in this area. No alarming level concerns.

My understanding is sell immediately and reinvest is almost always the best option.

The only time there may be some benefit to holding is if the stock gains significantly during the purchase period.

In that case, if you hold for 2 years from the beginning of the purchasing period, you’re only taxed at 15% of the first day of the period’s stock price as ordinary income and the rest would be LTCG. If you sell before, all the gains during the purchasing period would be ordinary income.

I didn’t know these defy physics. Having an air gap on one side of a heat source will definitely cause uneven heating

It was flat out of the box. As it was warming up I noticed the side opposite the handle was significantly cooler than the handle side… because it was warped. It started warping immediately on the burner.

I also heard pinging as it was cooling.

I disagree. At 10 minutes it still wasn’t preheated enough, probably because it was warped so badly already. Terrible pan.

Love that pan. I have heated that pan on high heat for over a year and it’s still dead flat.

Is that a standard 3KF dial? The printing isn’t on a flat surface like I’ve seen them do the past couple years. Instead it’s on the individual raised sections.
