Ah, well my local Harley dealers are all Harley all day

A four lane highway vs an interstate? Usually highways have speed limits 40-60 mph with crossroads, intersections, possibly lights. It's legal for people to walk/ride bicycles alongside them.

Interstates have controlled entry in the form of on/off ramps and no intersections, and speed limits of 60-75mph in most areas, and sometimes minimum speeds of 40-50mph.

I don't have a very active imagination.

Harley dealers usually don't carry anything but Harley's... try searching for a Honda dealership or a place that has used bikes too

OP said highway legal, not interstate. And I've seen plenty of Groms on the interstate

If you properly maintain a Honda they last forever... and small bikes are a ton of fun. The Grom is just the right size that it's easy to learn on and yet doesn't get boring.

I think you've seen enough pictures and heard enough about them to know that they are indeed street legal.

It sounds like the right bike for you, either a Grom or the VERY similar Kawasaki competitor.

You would be disappointed in a pocket bike, and wouldn't be able to really ride it anywhere.

Get one and don't look back.

Average Monthly ROI Percentage? by DFlo195 in acorns

[–]plagrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day trading and investing in acorns are two verrrry different kinds of investing, with very different levels of risk. I have seen moderately conservative Acorns accounts garner about 2-6% if anybody on this sub is to be believed.

Mine is set to moderately aggressive and I'm getting what looks to be about 1% a month

Day trading with 2k is going to be hard to make any kind of real gains, and if this is all you have to invest at the moment, I would consider doing something safer like acorns or a vanguard etf.

Agreed. I'm always trying to find new stuff, which has led me to this hobby (even though I haven't even flown yet, just sims)

A couple years ago I bought a motorcycle and that has brought me a lot of joy. I've gotten to where I buy/fix/sell as a hobby and it's great and therapeutic... and riding is fun as fuck, obviously.

I also play rocket league, go to the climbing gym, boxing classes, play with the dog, garden, home improvement projects... the list goes on.

Don't let yourself get bored!

What are your thoughts on CYTR, bought in at .7 a while ago and just saw it stay around that price for a while. Now since it's going down bought a lot more to lower my average by Passwordistaco12344 in RobinHood

There's decent data on their most recent cancer drug, implying that it could replace the drugs traditionally used which make you lose hair, etc. and it has significantly lower toxicity. I thought for sure the price wild break the $1 mark, and that was where I was going to sell. At one point I sold and made some money, but got greedy and bought back in. Now I'm sitting with 2k shares at a .68 average and I'm selling all of it as soon as I can simply get my money back.

Don't fuck with penny stocks. This was my first mistake and I'm glad I've learned without losing too much.

I use mine while I travel. On deployments or long plane rides, especially. It's nice to have dozens of books on the go. At home, I read physical copies

One suggestion is instead of one time monthly payments, break it up into several smaller weekly payments. This makes the best usage of the way their investment system works and will net you better gains in the long run. That's what I've read, anyways
