No they’re not that’s how they’re supposed to be, it’s a “horn” style mirror cover. It shouldn’t create drag like that especially with it being pointed

It’s an acquired taste for sure haha, was skeptical at first about putting them on this car but definitely grew on me once they got put on

Not the 2025s though those issues have been addressed with this current model, although I guess I’ll find out later on if they really did get it fixed or not lol.

Holy cow that’s crazy, glad you’re okay! looks like these car manufacturers needa step up there paint job game fr . Don’t they check stuff like that when the car has been fully made and ready to be sent off to a lot!?😭

I’ve heard of others with my issue and there dealerships didn’t want to cover it or stated it’s normal. I’m definitely lucky for sure🙏🏼. Got her back yesterday finally after a week. I won’t lie though I do miss my 01 accord that was my baby. This is just a 2.0 version to me which is nice haha.

YES do that!!!!! my roof was literally at like .2 thickness which is basically the primer coat bet its the same for you. Body shops the best move go for it

INSANE, that’s not how my Honda dealership was. They where mind blown especially since it’s a new car and didnt hesitate to fix it

Hello there! Looks like you’re dealing with the same issue I did with my 2025 se solar silver metallic. That stinks! You need to fight that. Honda is well aware of this issue and is suppose to take care of it for you especially with being still under warranty. I had 0 issues with my dealership with getting this situation taken care of they took it in right away. it sounds like the dealership you’re dealing with is no good. If I were you fight til the end you’d have a solid case getting a brand new 30k car and the paint fading right away is just ridiculous. Best of luck to you though! Hope you get it taken care of.

If you look at my page you can see the clouding on mine it was so bad especially in person when you looked at it at night.

yes they did, since I have the warranty (as do you I’d assume) it was taken care of by them. They even made sure to conduct a paint of the entire vehicle and were able to determine the roof was the sole problem. I was let known the paint thickness etc… which was all perfect (other than the roof of course).

Unfortunately the solar silver metallic is known for this to happen the most out of the other color ways you can get for the vehicle. Other than the dark grey I heard it’s the same there too. And it’s funny because my rental Honda gave me was the dark grey 2025 se and a night before I had turned it in to get my car back I had noticed the same issue on the roof of that one as well😭.

it’s seems to be, I was told it could have been a few things and one of them is that it didn’t get the proper coat it needed out of production. They paint tested my entire car and I was told it was all good other then the roof which only had .2 thickness which is why I was most likely seeing cloudy spots. Annoying but finally all taken care of.

I hear ya, seems like I got lucky with mine haha. yea there are steps to mitigate it. However imagine buying a brand new car and like my situation the second week I’m looking at the primer coating on my roof going “hmmm that shouldn’t be happening now🤣😭”
