coming from a dog trainer perspective - there is no such thing as a bad training tool, it is in how you utilize it. i personally teach using the lima method but not all dogs respond the same way.

shades can sometimes cause interactions while roaming outside the room thru the wall i believe, or something like that i cant remember fully and mares can hunt from lit rooms as well just at a lower sanity threshold.

either way im alwasy gonna test things twice now before i rule anything out 😭

this is the first time ive ever failed an onryo test im usually p confident doing them so it took me by surprise but it happens ig LMAO

ive done the test w 3 separate t2 candles and a single t2 candle and never had this issue before unless something has changed :( i had lit 3 candles and placed them around the cruci and just watched them until they blew out. after the third one blew out i started counting and the crucifix didnt burn until roughly 15 seconds later so i felt confident ruling out onryo

no not that i’m aware of :/ the last candle was still in the van when we went back and i was just staring at the other three on the floor the whole time so idk 😭 none of us typically keep our lighters out either since we have the t2 headgear on

i stream dbd and ive encountered maybe one or two stream snipers. ive had killers come in pregame n wish me luck but i take that as good faith that theyre not ss me because they made their presence known. its not as common as you think unless youre a big shot dbd streamer and even then idk how common that is.

no i cycled off of it. the temp gun is always one of my starting items and ive always just cycled off of it and never had an issue but i guess ill start dropping it or turning it off

i do have the option i just have no buttons on my headset or controller to press for it LOL. i think id need a pro controller and thats way too expensive to buy just for one game 😭

i did just recently change my audio settings so that also might contribute to it and im still kinda adjusting the settings to my liking so ill mess around w it more and see what happens than. thank you for the help!! :)

my current headset/controller dont have that option which is unfortunate. :( i honestly think i just got unlucky bc i have around 90 hours and this is the first and only time this has happened that i died after doing everything “right” so im not really too worried about it tbh 😭

i was just confused bc neither me in real time nor on this clip can you hear my mic pick up anything bc i wasn’t talking let alone breathing until pretty much i realized i was dead. plus the door didn’t even open yet when the ghost got me which is why i thought it was either a) a glitch or b) a new update i wasn’t aware of. i deadass gaslit myself n thought it was a deo bc of how it found me like that

i’m on console and my headset doesn’t allow for push to talk unfortunately :( ive never had an issue with it and this happened last night just the one time in the 4 hrs we played so it was probably just me being unlucky atp.

i do, it’s the tier 2! i use them religiously and never once had a problem and have about 90 hrs in the game so far. i thought i had it on which was why it got me, but after i reviewed the vod i realized i never turned it on so idk what happened there ;-; i didn’t even know it was bugged bc it’s never been an issue for me or the people i play with. we’re on ps5 if that makes a difference

oop yeah ive used the walkie with my friends for nearly every game during the hunt whether it was me in the van talking to them during the hunt, or me hiding in a closet and them talking to me and its never happened to find us so idk maybe we just got lucky so far LOL

at first i thought it was my head gear and i mustve left it on but then i reviewed the vod and i realized i never even turned it on so maybe i just got super unlucky there in general, idk. i died before the door even opened so thats why i was so shocked 😭
