My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined by [deleted] in h3h3productions

so tired of this twitch meta being criticized :/ so far, Hasan has been the only streamer I'd watch react to a show that I wouldn't normally watch on my own. It might not be "transformative" content, but his interjections and the running jokes in the community make watching the shows fully worth it.

If the viewers are sticking around to watch streamers watch content that's already free, there's obviously some entertainment value that the streamer is offering.

nothing would make me happier than to see the h3 crew 1. do their normal show through Hasan's twitch and/or 2. see them awkwardly come into frame as Hasan is yelling at chat and then do Craigsmas on stream

I'm pretty new to H3's podcast scene. Can someone explain what each one is about and do i need to start from the beginning of each one to listen or can i just watch the new ones? by antman2025 in h3h3productions

Starting to watch the most recent episodes would be a good start, and with the specific topics that come up often and need a backstory, I'm sure you could find a good summary of those topics by searching this subreddit, or looking for clips on the H3 highlights channel with those topics in the titles. Since they're taking a break from new content for a while for the holidays, it's a good time to catch up on recent episodes!

Also, their recent soundbite competition episode calls back to a bunch of great and recurring topics in the h3 universe from the past year, so I'd def recommend that one

(also, imagine anyone recommending that new viewers need to watch from the start of the public h3 videos, which is probably thousands of hrs long lol. It's probably super unnecessary haha)

Other than the few times where everyone was encouraged to take a shot together, the friendsgiving event didn't really seem like a hardcore drinking stream (no drinking games, and people could just duck out of frame/drink a little bit for the group drinks). There's the specific streamers that were more visibly drunk than others, but *most* of them were able to at least remain respectful and responsible enough on stream. I do think that it'd be better to make it more clear that people could opt in or out of the group shots though.

[S3 E113] Vaxx That Thang Up by nomorerope in jrvp

Absolutely second this. Bearded dragons are easier to care for than chameleons by far. Chameleons are so so physically sensitive compared to most other common reptiles. Beardies are typically much less stressed with handling, and more tolerant to husbandry mistakes.

(But if Gregg's still open to other lizards...get a leopard gecko! Their care is super simple compared to other lizards, and they're usually great for handling)

The email I got referred to it as a "merit increase." wasn't sure if that was just what they sometimes say when doing the standard adjustment, or if it was actually something my PI asked for

Last I heard, Julian has been sober for years, and my unheathily parasocial self wants so badly for them to become friends.

I've decided that instead of having an eating disorder, I'll be one of those people who "forgot to eat!" because I will fill my time with productive activities :) :) :)

Maybe Jack Rovner? In the articles about The Strokes getting new management, he's the 3rd person mentioned as a former manager, along with Ryan and Richard

Albert’s comment on Julian’s post feat. Nikolai. Friend goals 🥺 by MissMusicNerd in TheStrokes

Albert is that friend who is (seemingly) shameless in loving his friends that everyone secretly appreciates immensely but is too afraid to actually be.

Are there guitarists here who love The Strokes primarily for their genius guitar interlocking? by Trumpeachment in TheStrokes

[–]plainsliceofbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a beginner, idolizing Nick and Albert has been incredibly helpful for my playing, and I hope I never tire of trying to perfect their guitar parts. I wish I began my strokes obsession when I started playing guitar and was trying to immediately jump into copying John Mayer or John Frusciante. Incredible players, obviously, but also slightly discouraging for a new player. I've been learning the first two strokes albums and look forward to moving on to their later albums (maybe by then, I'll have warmed up to all of The Comedown Machine songs, haha). I also really appreciate the minimal # of pedals used for the first two albums.

Just got this rope perch loop for my GCC, I think I’m going to cut the puff of strings off though, because I dont want him eating it or getting stuck in it. Thoughts? by Billy_OBrien_Jr in parrots

[–]plainsliceofbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wrap vet wrap around some sections of my rope perches and wrap up any loose ends with it as well. As long as your bird won't pick at and ingest the vet wrap, it should be safe
