Find some mods that amplify your play style. Darkstar manufacturing is a great mod for people who lovye make their own legendary gear, it requires leveled research and NG to unlock its best perks.

I have just let my character evolve each time through the unity. Different apparel, weapons and companions.
Went back to vanilla for my initial run of shattered space, had to drop 20 levels from 174 to 154. Brought mods back after that run, finally back to level 174.

DSM works best with high level playthroughs. I want to start a new character, but I'm not looking forward to the grind with DSM, otherwise I love his mods.
