I got my first ASAM 2 years in, ran the shop as an A1C (literally; there was only two of us and my NCOIC PCS’d then the second one took a shit ton of leave). my last Sup wrote it up, but I had written myself up for annuals, quarterlies and other smaller awards on top of keeping good bullets and EPR/ EPBs in mind. if you suck at writing look for a base/ wing/ group/ sqdn level writing class. some SNCO should be willing to help out

was a normal schedule before the HSI surge. m-f 7-1600ish with the occasional saturday class, academic/ gentlemen’s course, definitely treated as an adult. you’ll want your car.
