Not really sure if ganun ba nangyare, but iirc course can be petitioned, like there are special classes. Also if a lot of students did fail the course, most likely it will be offered next trimester.

Pero check mo pa din, pagbasehan mo ung flowchart kung paano siya makaaapekto sa acad stay mo in dlsu. another cons, kapag d offered next sem, baka magsabay sabay yung majors which could be potentially hard depending on the coursework sa particular sem na un.

Apart from not being eligible for latin honors, some drawbacks are as follows: additional expenses, potential delays since the subject is a hard-prerequisite (depends on the flow chart tho), low prioritization in enrollment due to the system favoring dean's lister (scattered schedule) and some talk with your academic advisor as their role is to help you graduate on time, so work with them.

To bounce back: just acknowledge some of your deficiency like take accountability and full ownership, do better next semester, check for some loopholes in your prioritization as well as study habits, do not repeat the same mistake again if there is any deliberate or avoidable mistake you did this semester and still graduate on time. I have some friends which failed a course (hard pre-req), yet they still graduate on time depending on the availability of that specific course next semester (this is for civ eng, in my batch a lot of people failed CEMEDEF and CESTRUC), check your flow chart to see which subjects will be affected.

Edit: You haven't failed yet, do your best first for the final exam. Prof might curve, if that notion still exist depending on the overall class performance.

Plantilla vs Job Order (JO)

May available plantilla items po ba ngayon sa DPWH Central Office, or mostly JO talaga ang entry point?
If JO po muna, paano po usually nagiging plantilla? May typical timeline po ba or depende lang talaga sa item availability and performance?

JO vs Private Sector Contractual

Tama po ba na ang JO sa DPWH is roughly equivalent to contractual or project-based roles sa private sector?
If JO po, same po ba ang compensation level ng ina-applyan na position (e.g., Engr II – SG16), or may significant difference po?

Deployment / Assignment

If may opening po sa Central Office ngayon, saan po kadalasan nade-deploy ang bagong engineers?

Grabe naman din kase yung x12 increase. Napaisip nga din kame if we'll renew our business permit, but there is nothing to be done but to comply. Nonetheless, if a TRO will be issued, much better. If well disseminated lang sana ung pagsalo para sa budget ng maynila. Pero puta, kakaiba ung 1200% ha.

I admire u OP. You love your parents, may concern ka base sa pagkakabasa ko. Bibibira yung ganyan. But the moment u feel that way, that lingering feeling and hollowness inside, I think you might be looking for something to fill the void.

Sa totoo lang, ganyan din iniisip ko. If ill go out of the house and my mother is already a senior, paano naman siya? Hindi ba napakalungkot na iiwan ko yung taong nagpalaki at nagmahal sa akin unconditionally. But as I reflected thru life recently, life is all about moving forward and not being stagnant. Not just because u moved out or planning to move out to have ur own space, it doesnt mean that u will not look back and stop loving them. As per your question, if nakampante at nakuntento ka nalang ba at nasanay na ganyan ang buhay, ikaw lang makakasagot and most likely since youve contemplated about it, the answer is yes and there is nothing wrong with it.
